Vocalek, Sorry to jump in here, but hoping you can guide me in the right direction......... Am wanting to write to one of our local newspapers here in Dubai about the whole of the GCC banning ecigs. Looking for facts about ---- what %age of users have totally stopped smoking? What %age of people have reduced tobacco usage? I know it's here somewhere, but can't find it this morning!!! Many thanks. XXX

You know what would be incredibly awesome?

A single place to go where all information one could use to write letters was available at the fingertips.
The various facts and talking points would be listed in bullet points, and the supporting information would be links under each bullet point.

Then people could write custom letters in their own words, and pick and choose which facts and talking points to include.
And they could easily research the links for supporting information if they wanted to expand on any particular points.

Just a thought... maybe a webpage on CASAA website?

I just want to know who owns the Delorean and quite smoking and started vapping in the July - Dec 2011 time frame. lol

Can I borrow your car for a few days?

When I started vapping I switched completely over in less than a week. I actually dropped down from over a PPD down to 4 smokes a day for about 3 days then 1 then ZERO! And never looked back.

Hmm... I wonder if the dates selected correspond to the growth of the industry. It looks as if around 18% began using the products during each half of 2009, with almost double that many jumping on board each of the next two six month periods.

I was wondering this too. Or is it that us new vapers just hang around more in the forum, while the long time vapers perhaps do not visit here as much anymore.

Although, I am sure that there has been substantial growth in the industry.

I suspect it's directly related to Industry growth. Just looking at a micro snap shot of my personal world it has exploded in only my first 2 months.
I started vaping then my wife then my brother then my son-in-law then my step-son then my step-daughter then my sister-in-laws mother and then her sister. And if all 7 of these folks have 7 friends to convert and then .......
If this poll is still here at the end of 2011 and people participate you're going to need a wider screen cause I feel like the vapping world is about to explode.

Edit: Yes Zeroi, I was talking about the Delorean. If ya got one in your back pocket send it on over to me for a test drive. lol

The long-time vapers are still here, Bozzlite. They're just different places than they used to be. I've been online for a while, and I still haven't seen the new posts yet, but I've gotten six PM's. People come onto ECF and meet new ppl, and that's when the fun begins. Also, some of us want to cut-up a bit, so we go to private chat lines like ChatTango so we don't get shushed up and have the mods checking every lil word we utter, LOL. But the veteran vapers I kick around with always check their little newbs to make sure they've gotten their Q's answered, b/c that's our priority. I vowed to my Father that if he could help me with this vaping nightmare, that I would do what I could to help others, so I've gotten my 1000 posts done, but I'm still here just to meet sweet people like you. Happy vaping, dearheart.

Agree that you really do the Posting since March 2010, I think i should be ashame of myself doing only slightly 200 Post. how i wish i can have more time posting here with all of you Gentlemen & ladies.

Talking about some old Vapers, i do believe in some of them that they maybe a Supplier now or maybe not Vaping anymore.
I really Thanks those and you who are still around doing the posting to keep this Forum Alive. I will be doing my Best to hit that 1000 POST.

1000 divide by 60days, 17 Post per day. i think i going to do this.. lol

I have seen a few respected old-timers move into the supplier area.
And even some of the more "prolific" newcomers as well.

But there are plenty of old-timers that aren't doing anything but keeping it real.

And sure, there may be a number of old-timers who do not post here anymore for any of the following reasons...
1) Found what they need and don't feel the desire to continue posting
2) Got bored with the whole thing and got a life
3) Decided the restrictions on this forum are too tight (and now frequent other forums)

I really Thanks those and you who are still around doing the posting to keep this Forum Alive. I will be doing my Best to hit that 1000 POST.

You have a long ways to go.
