Hey everyone!

Just wanted to say hello and do a little introduction. I've been on and off for a couple years as far as trying to quit smoking goes and have recently dusted off my e-cig. I figured getting involved on here would help me maintain my abstinence from cigarettes whilst supplying some community motivation to keep vaping. I've been impressed with the way this forum is maintained and the knowledge shown from it's posters. So, hello I guess.

I'm just puffin on a Joye-510, I see they get a little heat from members who prefer vapes with a little more tech to them but as far as I'm concerned it's portable, easy to operate and fits my needs. I was looking into some larger units but decided I don't really need anything fancier at the moment. As far as quitting goes I've been making some good progress. I'd say i'm at 90% vaping and 10% smoking, only smoke a handful of cigarettes a week. Usually I'll go a couple days without one an then when I'm feeling like a treat I'll roll up a smoke hahah

Edit:

I'm also packing a PCC and a bottle of choice when I leave the house to keep me rolling. I see many folks have issues with atomizers failing them but I've been using the same atomizer for many months now and it's still truckin :toast:

Welcome to the ECF:) I think what bnrkwest meant was that if you are still having nic fits using your PV you may want to try a few things to up you chances for success. ! being try upping your nic mgs or 2 trying like an ego twist or something like that so you can get bigger warmer better hits via variable voltage. Nothing against the 510. Some people use them forever:)

Yeah well I've been more successfull this time around than the umpteenth other times I've told myself I'd put down cigarettes, and I was weening myself down before I picked my vape back up as well so that helped a lot!

I should also mention that I never smoked more than a pack a day and would usually make a pack last for 2-3 days as well so my battle isn't as big as it was for many others...
