Been reading info hear for awhile but came across a topic I'd really like to participate in. Is it really necessary that I post 5 useless/ contrived posts in this forum in order to do so? Seems counter productive and even the exact reason why such a rule would exist ( if the purpose is to prevent spam/trolls/unfriendly types). Like I was saying, have been reading stuff here for a few months, have a feel for the community, and all questions I have are pretty topic specific not general "how do I start getting into this ecig thing".

I could be wrong, but I think they do that to see if the poster is a real person, and not a spammer.

I would encourage you not to make your first five posts "useless or contrived." This is a community and its about giving as much as taking. Use your posts in a helpful and constructive way: welcome someone else, congratulate someone who's excited they're no longer smoking, encourage someone who's having a rough time, etc. you'll rack up five posts in no time and have contributed in a meaningful way.

Or better yet, let's have a conversation now.

How long have you been vaping?

3 months is my best guess. On a whim tried those Blu's. First few drags were OK.. Didn't realize that a burnt carto was not the intended taste after a little while. I'm a bit of an electrical tinkerer as a hobby which is probably what spurred my curiosity in the whole thing enough to look into it further after those nasty Blu's ran out.

However... not a fan of the constant "tinkering" I find myself doing with all the crazy little widget cartos/ tanks/etc... in search of my "holy grail", a juice that's both pleasant and satisfying but isn't "too much" that it gets sickening using it all day and a tank/carto that doesn't burn during chain vapes, doesn't leak, and doesn't require constant filling.. think. Got the equipment there... just trying more and more juice... must have abut 30 flavors from a variety of vendors and I'm not sure I'd want to puff more than 2.. the money pit
