Well I have been lurking around the ECF.com boards for awhile now and figured I would finally register and introduce myself. I was a smoker from the age of 15 until I was 25 and one day while during pre-deployment training I decided to quit and entered the world of e-cigs. I have been using e-cig's for about 5 months now and recently upgraded from my very boring and very beat up VGO to a Silver Bullet from Altsmoke.com (still waiting to receive it.) I loved the VGO to start out with but the limitations with the thread pattern has kept me from getting better tanks, atomizers, etc without a thread adapter. So, I decided to upgrade.
I would say that the VGO (1 900mah battery from EVCigs and 2 650mah from smokesation.com) is very durable. I've been deployed for 5 months and these things have been dropped in sand, on concrete, 3/4 inch plywood, and everything under the sun and except for scratches it still works great and will end up being my EDC e-cig while here, and when outside doing tasks back in the rear.
My wife has Cystic Fibrosis and has been trying to get me to quit for the longest time and this website has definitely helped me do that. I would just like to thank everyone here on ECF.com for the help and guidance on this new adventure in my life.
