I made the switch to vaping 2 1/2 years ago, after smoking for 20 years. I've been lurking in this forum for just as long, but finally decided to make the jump into joining. Never too late, amiright? I'm pretty sure I used to have an account but for the life of me I couldn't remember any of my sign-in info, so I'm here under a new account and ready to roll!

I consider myself fairly well versed in the ways of vaping, but there is always a new toy right around the corner, ready to mix things up. ;) I currently switch between subtanks and RDAs, along with mechs and high wattage regulated mods.

My favorite liquid right now is Ahlusion, but I branch out occasionally. I'm definitely a fruity Betty, so if someone knows of a good fruit juice, I'd love to hear about it.

Well, I think that's about it! That's me! Thanks for letting me join in your reindeer games.

Thanks, everyone!

Hello Apple_betty :) so whats your fav setup?

I have a few... I love my carbon fiber FU with the Mutation X V1 and a glass top cap. That's my go to mech for sure. I run my subtank on the Sig 100w, which really doesn't allow the mod to shine, but it works pretty darn well for what it does. And finally, for me "OH MY KIDS ARE DRIVING ME NUTS" set up... I use a Sig 150w with a El Cabron, built to .4 with 22g kanthal. That one calms me down in all the right ways.

Always makes me wonder why folk lurk for so long without participation :pop:

I just forget to log on and spend most of my time on other forums :)

Whenever I had a question, I could typically find the answer in someone's thread, so there was no need for me to talk. Now that I know a little bit more, I've decided to join so that I could help others who may have questions. :D

Great taste in the mutation X. Unfortunatley my coils I've been building just don't fit in the topcap how i want. :(
I usually run my Doge V2 or Darkhorse. My 3x26 twisted coils BARELY fit in the darkhorse as is. Move the topcap and she'll short. :(

I tried twisted and clapton, but honestly the difference for me was negligible so I went back to my plain old macros.

to ecf. Nice to meet you and so glad that you are here. Just a wonderful place. A big congrats on the vaping. That is awesome. No need to lurk. Yes, it is the best place to get information but really what makes ecf so special. . . are the people. Have fun and make yourself at home. :)

Honestly, the twisted were fine, but once i started twisting 3 strands, I'll never look back. But I fire high wattage so i have no ramp up to worry about. Something about it gives me a smoother more full flavor. But that's my experience.

I'm in the same boat. I'd like to help others with what I've learned. (And I also want to join in on some of the temp control discussions -- just got my SX Mini M class earlier this week! I'm in love.)
