I'll also be very interested to see the results of this poll, I have today managed to totally destroy all 6 of the atomisers that I own, including new brand spanking new one straight out of the packaging...........

It would also be interesting to see which brands of atomiser are the most reliable.

Cheers

not bad at all cash. i havent been counting but i swear i have had similar results with some generic penstylers. granted they dont work aswell anymore but i reckon an old steam clean would fix up right up. i used to be uber careful with them, standing them on their end at night and washing them out etc but then as my family grew i got less careful with them.

now i dont use them anymore as i had to buy some 901'ers to use with trogs gizmo (the pink one which i lost for shame!) but they're still sitting there wating for that day. i think the best course of action is to always cycle at least 3 or more. give the little guys a day off now and again but im not tucking them into bed anymore and reading them bed-time stories.

i am talking dead, or so unsatisfactory there is no point using it anymore.

and there lies the problem.. dead is dead.. unsatisfactory for use any more can vary a million fold.. plus i have some six months old ones sat on my shelf.. he he he

plus swapping and alternating a bunch around will appear to prolong the life of them..

the only real test is one used all the time.. which is what i based my results on..

not a very representative poll to be honest.. for example how may others did cash who sells the things try while he was making one last three months.. he he he

we recon two weeks on average.. but thats just us..

just for fun okay.. but not much use for anything else.. he he

My first atomizer died on it's 16th night as it became victim to a cleaning cycle. The next morning it breathed it's last breath. I now have a new one that is just 1 day old. I'm still working on breaking it in and it seems every new drip brings a bit more vapor. I'm also no longer using cartridges as I believe they played a part in the first one's death. So far the results have been quite nice.

I wouldn't know how to tell how long mine last. I have 5 with another on order. I switch them out constantly and don't keep track. Are most people using the same atomizer until it dies and then moving on? I think I got my first shipment about a month ago, but all the equiptment seems to be working fine. Maybe it's because I switch them out so much???

when the new "toy factor" wears off its pretty normal for most people to just use the one.. long term these these things will need to be put to real use as apposed to playthings..

the gee wow whiz isnt this wonderfull thing soon wears off then the niggles and inadequacies start to show..

sorry for being negative here but far too many people are still in the gee wow whiz buy everything on the planet phase.. my sympathies are with those that have moved on to the real need phase.. and the economics of the real need phase.. which excludes buying everything on the planet for obvious reasons.. he he

i've had my classic 'mydnite' generic 4072 from smokester! for around 7 weeks now , it's used heavily everyday for about 7 hours per day. I've lost count on how many attempted cleaning cycles the batts have done ( before i remove them ) and it's still going great.

Granted I think the draw has gotten slightly harder but the vapour production and hits are as good as the day i got it.

I have been using Pillbox's totally wicked french pipe in it exclusivley so i can vouch for the quality of Jasons liquid too.
