Hello everyone El Dee here from Central North Carolina {real tobacco country}. Recently investigated vaping with one of those Pure Smokes available down at the analog store. It is nasty but still satisfied the addiction quiet well. Lurked a bit and read some then decided to get hooked up with a Joye 510 some accessories and some different flavors of juice from Cignot. Decided to go analog until the package arrives, but chomping at the bit none the less. Dagnabbitt I wanna drip on my atom and try some juice that doesn't taste like crap. Currently at 2+ packs of Marlboro Lights a day. Gonna have to experiment with nicotine mg to find what I like. I chain smoke with my morning coffee. Looking forward to kicking the Marlboro Man to the curb. I'll pass that Pure Smoke joke on and try and get my friends to vape as well. Hoping the 510 will get the job done but willing to upgrade as needed. Any help or advice is welcomed here...Your long haired country boy, metalhead, Harley +ATV riding Bro,, El Dee I'm just sayin" Hurry Ms. Mail Lady...Pleeezzzeee!!

I just got my 510 yesterday and I'm loving it. I'm still waiting on my huge liquid order from Viking Vapors to show up though. 510 has some super TH with a 24mg juice (pretty sure it is PG). Good choice with Cignot, they rock. My first order from them got here (Germany) in 5 days.

Welcome aboard, glad ya made it You're starting out wonderfully with Cignot, the 510 and this forum. I started the same way. The ladies at Cignot.com are absolutely fantastic and shipping is lightning fast. I still buy the Basic brand juice from them as I love the Ahneeda Fruit.

Quasi I have a friend who moved to St. Louis years ago, he works at Doc's Harley-Davidson. It's a good time to be in Carolina Bro..nice temps and low humidity...Newplague I'm glad to hear you like your 510..I'm hoping I ordered enough strong juice..If not...Dang analogs are starting to taste nasty...Never thought I'd say anything negative about an analog but ready to quit them. Do you guys enjoy better breathing after vaping awhile?? I'm hoping so...

I started vaping because I had developed a very nasty hacking cough. I really never intended to stop smoking, just cut back so the cough would ease up. I gave up cigs the same day I received my 510 and 5 days later my cough was 80% gone. I also have far less sinus and allergy problems now. Everybody is different but for every cig you don't smoke you are improving your health in some way.

Thanks again Ms. Witch...That's great news as I can hack with the best of them..Sinus problems can kick my ... at will but thankfully warmer weather has calmed them somewhat. Vaped 14 of those Pure Smoke carts and thought I felt better...Was hoping it wasn't in my head...

I used to smoke marlb lights too - only 2 packs at weekends though but I feel ya with the coffee + smokes. I have to say I dont really miss them - so mnay nicer flavors to puff on than stinky old ash-breath flavor lol
I found 12mg nic to be my 'happy spot' but I do tend to chain - had to get some 0 (zero) nic liquid for when I chain, and have some 18mg for those 'craving moments'; I even have a couple of 24mg but I can't vape those a lot - I get a headache.
If youre at 2 packs EVERY day you might find 18mg is a good spot for you but it varies a lot person to person. Experimentation is the name of the game at least for a little bit until you find your 'best' nic level - then of course the hunt for flavors begins! That one is fun though

Hi El Dee and welcome to the forum! You defenately came to the right place, there is a lot of useful info on here and a lot of really helpful folks. I also smoked Marlboro Lights (100's), about a pack a day, I managed to cut back to just a few per day with my e-cig. That's better than I ever thought i could do! I know I will kick those last few soon, after vaping the analogues start to taste like crap! So if you quit right away then great, if not don't worry bc the more you vape the less you want to smoke! Good Luck!
BTW--I haven't had a cig since yesterday, figured it's time I try to stop the last few I've been using as a crutch. Hopefully I can stick with it!

I'm not in my happy place yet since my 510 hasn't arrived. Hopefully tomorrow......I ordered it Tues morning. I can't wait to get it so I can put the analogs I do smoke down for good!

Hi El! We have lots in common it seems! I'm also from NC and new to the forums. I've been smoking analogs since I was 8 but the fps (fire protection ....) was killing me. I was getting headaches and coughing constantly! When I started ecigs it was just to get away from smoking a bit so I was just smoking analogs when I really wanted to, with noooo pressure on myself to quit. After a while, the analogs just stopped! So awesome to be off those awful things. I vape constantly since I work at my computer but I don't really care, it's yummy and it is not hurting me and I feel 100% BETTER! I have a Vapor King from V4L (wonderful peoples) and a Vapor King from E-cigarettes, Inc which as I understand it is actually a 501. Both are good but the battery life on the V4L is better and the carts are easier to handle when I'm at school. I just ordered some cartomizers for my 501 so hopefully that will be good too. I have juice from Tasty Vapors (YUM) so refill my cartomizers. Anyway, welcome and nice to meet ya!

BTW, I'm now as addicted to this website as I am to vapors!

Oh yeah, for sure. Better tasting and smelling as well as an overall healthier feeling. I noticed how nasty tasting analog's were after I got my blu starter kit. I would go and sneak an analog here and there and I was blown away at how disgusting it tasted and smelled. The more and more I vaped, the more awful analog's tasted. I guess that was just my tasted bud's coming back. I haven't even took a drag from an analog in over a month, and will NEVER go back again!!! Congrats on making a good choice in the 510, and welcome to the family!

Hi North Carolinians. I'm in Charlotte. Huge learning curve with all of this, but it is fantastic!. I'm on to the cart mod and liquid learning curve now. I'm using kr808D-1 mega batteries with 901 attys (they're interchangeable with kr8s), 510 attys (with an adapter) and the cartomizers made for the kr8 (they're troublesome so far). I'm also using a Screwdriver MK1 3.7v mod. It's awesome. BTW Devil, I think you meant 510 (not 501). Anyway, I'm in danger of missing Spring because of this forum. MUST. GO. OUTSIDE.

I smoked analogs for almost 50yrs. But my breathing was going fast, and I absolutely had to stop. It wasnt til I started with the Blu, then the Joye 510 that I felt satisfied. I no longer cough my brains out! A friend stopped by today and he told me how great it was that the coughing was gone. I can climb a flight of stairs again without feeling that it just might kill me. So yes, your health WILL improve.

I know what you mean Stover. What sucks is that I am waiting for it in the mail and a local retailer has a great selection at a great price. But I'm saved by the facts that the wonderful ladies at cignot.com are the BEST just with USPS were as good as cignot

Welcome to ECF! I am noticing more and more people from NC lurking here. I was smoking one and a half packs of Marlboro Reds before I started vaping last Monday by Thursday of last week I converted completely over to vaping. The 510 is a great model. Hope you get yours soon.

I'm the same way... I can't believe that I ever smoke analogs, they really taste bad, even the menthols that I used to smoke.
