Lol- ok bobalex....what is your best reccomendation on where to learn about/buy one? I can't help but be curious now.

Hey 1LastShot -

greyrat started it the ball rolling in February 2011 with this thread:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ego-type-models/163146-ego-t-vs-go-go.html (282 pages)

Devonmoonshire started the Go-Go consolidation thread in April 2011:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...3-go-go-specific-thread-all-things-go-go.html (275 pages and counting)

I’m not a video review type of guy but the Go-Go compelled me to make this:

If you plow through all 557 pages you’ll find out everything you need to know about the Go-Go.

But let’s start with the basics. The Go-Go 1300 mAh battery (with carto and whistle tip) is 6 inches long and weighs 2 ounces. Using a Fury tank it’s 5 and 7/8 inches long. The VV Go-Go Fury with tank is 6 and 7/8 inches and weighs 2.25 ounces. Go-Carts hold 3ml and the Fury tank just shy of 2ml. Both the Go-Go and Fury are about 5/8 of an inch in diameter.

Disclaimer: From this point on you’ll only be reading my experiences with the Go-Go.

I began vaping with a KR808 starter kit and was able to painlessly quit smoking. I wanted longer battery life in the 808 format and started using the 750 mAh Elegant Easy and then 1300 mAh Elegant Easy XXL. I was going to purchase another couple XXL’s when Frank at CigEasy told me he was dropping the line and was introducing the Go-Go. I really liked the XXL’s and wondered if the Go-Go was going to be as good until the moment it came in the mail and I started vaping it.

A game changer to be sure. The Go-Carts held about 3 mls of juice and the Flavor, Throat Hit, and Vapor production was Incredible. I refilled the Go-Carts over and over again without any perceptible drop in performance. As you’ll find in the All things Go Go thread mohawkx pioneered the taking apart, cleaning, and rebuilding of Go-Carts which vastly increased their longevity.

Initially the only Go-Go drawback I found was because of the Go-Go’s proprietary threading I couldn’t use my 808 cartos on the Go-Go. I got a Go-Go to 808 adapter and discovered it was the world’s biggest Who Cares. The bottom horizontal coil of the Go-Carts blew my 808 stuff out of the water. Why do I want to take a vaping step backwards? I still have the adapters … in The Drawer. So yeah … the Go-Go is proprietary. But it worked better than anything I had tried. And as I found out later … better than the rigs I would try.

Because all vapers eventually go looking for the elusive “better” vape, even when they’ve got something that works really really well, I hauled out my credit card and bought other e-cigs that now reside in The Drawer.

The Echo, The Echo-e, and The Boge Leo did not surpass what I was getting out of the Go-Go.

I took the Leo out of the drawer last year because the Dual Coil Leo cartos are great. The Elite gave the Go-Go pretty good run for my money and the Turbo EZ tank system was pretty impressive too. But a 1300 mAh Go-Go lasts longer than everybody. I tried the eGO twist and liked it a lot but … it was very similar to the Leo with a Dual coil carto so it went into the drawer. When CigEasy introduced a tank for the Go-Go it was exactly what I was looking for. The ease of use of a tank on top of a battery that lasts me over 2 days.

Then Go-Go vaping got even better. CigEasy introduced the VV Go-Go Fury and the Fury tanks. The Fury brought a whole new dimension to the vaping experience when I used a Go-Cart. The flavor just blasts through. The bottom line is I love the Go-Go Fury, Go-Carts, and the Fury tanks. I tend to use the tank over the Go-Carts a little more because it’s just so easy to refill and keep on vapin’.

Here’s the deal … you can get a VV or VW device (or a VV/VW all-in-one) and after pressing buttons you can see on a screen the resistance of your carto/tank/atomizer, raise or lower the voltage/wattage, see how many puffs you’ve taken, and see the battery level.

Or …

You can put a Go-Cart or Fury tank on the Go-Go Fury, turn until you find the “Sweet Spot,” and get the exact same quality of vape on rigs that are longer, weigh more, and are waaaaaay more expensive.

There have been rumors that the Go-Go might be going away but CigEasy’s committed to the Go-Go and with new top secret hush hush Go-Go gear coming soon … the Go-Go won’t be going the way of the Dodo.

To sum up: I get over 2 days between charges and either using a Fury tank or a Go-Cart, I’m happily vaping for a long long time.

I don't use the Go Go cartos much anymore tho that could change. I do have three of the batteries that give a little extra boost to the Kanger T3's I've been favoring lately. I don't see that they last as long as Bobalex claims but I like that little extra voltage. The thing about the three I've got that bugs is that when I go to charge them, invariably I need to pry up the battery center post a little to get it to charge. Other than that it's a good solid battery and I don't mind using adapters.

You need to file or sand the excess plastic flush to the metal on the charger where the battery attaches.

Battery life is very user defined, someone that is a light vaper could get 3 days or more between recharges, heavy vapers may get 10 ~ 12 hours from the same 1300 mah battery.

That plastic was filed down a long time ago. This is a chronic problem with the battery posts. And I just found out I'm down to two GoGo bats apparently a switch has died on the third one. Good excuse to order the Fury.

I know subjective. I'm not comparing to another vaper, I'm comparing to other 510 Ego type batteries I use of different brands.

Spinners cost about £20-25 over here, so not much. Normal voltage 1100mAh batteries about half that. That is affordable enough to have at least 2 of both. Keep them on rotation. I still use my 900mAh ego from last August. They last if you treat them right. Vaping doesn't have to be expensive. 1100mAh should be enough for anyone, especially with a spare in the pocket.

Not the most popular item in the world right now but for a non mod type battery I find the 1300 mah Go Go hard to beat. A fairly heavy vapor and have not had one last under a full day for me yet ( have only been using it for 3 weeks though). For a battery that's only 3 and a half inches long and the diameter of a dime that's allot of power for the size. I think anyway.

I am not sure I am not in the right forum- however we have been through several types of batteries, and haven't been too happy- the latest buy was an Ego twist. I simply thought it would last longer for a 1000 maH? Guess not!

Any suggestions?

the wife has an off-brand 1300mah but after only about 2 months, it's acting up pretty badly.

I picked up one of these and it works quite nicely. Not real expensive either. It gets me 1-1/2 to 2 days depending on how much I vape before needing a charge with the 2200 mAh bat....I've got a Panasonic 3400 mAh bat coming to extend that even further... JoyeTech eGo 18650 MOD

I can attest to the longevity of these batts. Spikes never leaves his face. It's his binkie.

Touché but lucky enough for me I'm too poor to go otta control. LoL do need to get some tanks with the 18650 batt. I think I'll be set then.

I recommend the Smok Tech 3.5 and/or 5 ML UDCT. They are rock solid, well constructed, and with the locking feature, they will not slide up off the cart. I got both from LitecigUSA and really like them a lot.

My hybrid 18650 batteries last me from 1 1/2 to 2 days, they are 2250mah. My vv Gripper takes 1 to operate. The Gripper, which adjusts from 3-6 volts, also shows ohms of vaping device and remaining voltage. Variable Volt Gripper
The batteries are cheapest on Ebay for $15.50 for 2 batteries. and you can get a charger for between $10-$20.
