Fuzion Vapor had a Black Jack gum flavor, but they recently stopped making it. I am totally destroyed because it's my ADV. I stockpiled it as much as I could before it went off the shelves.

It tastes EXACTLY like Black Jack bubblegum.

I have 5 15ml bottles left.

The owner did send me a list of the ingredients, but refused to share with me the ratios. Says they are a "trade secret". I didn't think it should matter anymore since they aren't going to sell it ever again, but oh well.

I have no DIY experience. I'm not sure what I'm going to do. :(

If you do happen to find one that tastes like the real deal, I hope you will post it on here.

Black Jack Gum is a licorice-flavored gum, made in a single batch every few years by the Cadbury Adams Company.

Black Jack Gum

History

William Finley Semple of Mount Vernon, Ohio obtained the first chewing gum patent on December 28, 1869. Patent number 98,304 claimed the "combination of rubber with other articles, in any proportions adapted to the formation of an acceptable chewing gum." Semple never commercially made any chewing gum.

Development of Chicle Gum came with a big breakthrough in 1869 from another source. Exiled Mexican former president and general, Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna (infamous for his victory over the Alamo defenders) was living in New Jersey. He brought a ton of Mexican chicle with him, in hopes of selling it.

Where you get peppermint clove I'll never know.

I'm actually a bit of a black licorice snob, when it comes to the candy. And you're sort of correct, black jack gum is mainly black licorice, but it does have a hint of clove, or something else that gives it more spice. Likely just another ingredient that goes into BL, but I can see where you got that.

I wasn't sure how I'd feel about a BL vape; even though I'm a huge fan. I was actually worried that they would suck, since I actually hate 9 out of 10 BL candies out there....like I said, a bit of a snob about it. But I tried Mount Baker's, and it's dead-on-perfect. I usually try a few different brands before committing to a vape, but they nailed it so well. It's close to a good n plenty, if you're fan of the candy.

Anyway, I'd recommend trying MBV's version. Oddly, I haven't vaped it yet after trying the one taster....seems like a bit of a tank commitment, and as much as I love BL....I fear that the tank I put it in will never be the same after switching flavors.

MBV's Black Licorice flavor really is delicious and spot on. I haven't ordered any in a long time, may be time to re-order soon. I never have issues with flavor lingering in the tank since I only use glass tanks with it. Just rinse it out and swap out the atty you should be fine.

The Black Licorice flavoring in general will crack plastic. Same can be said for all flavors with anise flavoring.
