Looking for a good mod with a usb connection/passthrough

Hi all,

I am currently vaping with an EGO (Actually a Volcano Inferno) and an considering getting a mod. One feature that I really want is for it to have a USB type connection like my inferno does so that I can plug it in and use it while it is charging. I have looked seriously at the Revolution V2.1 but I've heard about it leaking due to being a bottom feeder. The bottom feed feature is not that important to me so.................................what do you guys recommend with a USB connection???

Most mods have changeable batteries. The Darwin is a high end wonderful Mod that uses a USB to charge and can be used like a pass through.

I'm sure there are a few---and certainly varous brands similar to the one you have. If you search for pass through you might get some good info. The only other mod I can think of right now is one that isn't made right now -- the Bartelby.

Once I switched from ego batteries to mods with large capacity batteries that last me a day on one charge, I barely used my pass through again.

Thanks for the response tearrose50. The Darwin looks really nice but a lot of $$$$$$$$$. Maybe I am overthinking this. I should get a cheap on and see how the battery lasts.

It's ALWAYS good to have a back up. Then, you can rotate.

And, there are many nice mods that are not "high end" and plenty of goodies to make us want them!

After you do have a back up take some time shopping and saving as at some point you will most likely want to upgrade. The Ego is a fine device---many always carry one as a spare.

And -- check out the classifieds. Not only can you get some good deals on juice and supplies, it's been helpful to me to learn about the different mods.

I have the revolution 2.1 and really liked it. I said liked because the bottle got a hole in it from me pressing to fill. Luckily I had ordered a back up bottle w/ the tip for the revo and it should arrive today so that i can get it back in action. Also just be aware that the passthru is not a true passthru. Most passthrus will vape at a higher voltage when connected (ex-a 3.7 mod will vape at 5v when connected). This will not. It will maintain the 3.7 volts when connected, but still works great.
