Hey guys,

Does anyone have a video they would recommend that would explain vaping to someone who has never done it before. I've got a person that's interested, and they unfortunately don't have a local store near them to go ask questions, and this stuff is hard to explain over the phone. I'm looking for a video from someone that's perhaps well spoken and can explain the different parts to someone new (batteries, atomizers, tanks, mods). Kind of an all in one video. Thanks!

Nick "Grimm" Green is a great place for noobs to start. He tries to not talk over peoples heads and keep it down to earth, but his reviews are also a great spot for info for seasoned vapers. This one is for people making the leap from your cheap gas station disposables to a "real" e-cig. He has over 300vids on everything from juice, batteries, mods, even chargers. He's a very entertaining speaker.

I have not found a perfect video for this yet.

PBusardo, a popular e-cig reviewer on YouTube has done this video. I think only the parts from 1:00 to 14:00 minutes is all that is appropriate for a beginner. Phil tends to get too technical for beginners beyond that part getting into ohm's law to explain resistance and probably is too technical for a beginner. But he does explain the delivery devices well, and has excellent closeup images to help explain what he is talking about. A PBusardo Video - Beginners Guide to E-Cigs and E-Cig Tech - YouTube

I have put together a blog with a couple of articles in particular that are excellent for new folks deciding on their first e-cigarette setup. One of them is this one:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/3706-4-good-starters-setup-beginning-vapor.html

Another one is a picture dictionary of the more common juice delivery devices:

I hope this is helpful.

Personally, I think PBusardo's beginners guide gets too technical. I like Doctor Vapor's videos (He has several). He gives a very, very basic overview. Although the videos are old and the products he recommends are outdated, I think it's still a good foundation: E-Cig 101 - Class 1 - What Do I Order First? - YouTube

Would you happen to have the link to that video? I think I saw it a while back but i'm having trouble locating it. I love Grimm's vids!

EDIT: Doh the link is right there sorry, thanks for the reply

+1 on the VAMO. For the price, you just can't beat it! Then if he likes vaping, get a provari.* Love my vamo and vivi novas!!
I also recommend the carbon fiber wrap from Jwraps! Looks awesome and really helps with grip. I have the black chrome, hella slippery!, with the black carbon fiber. Very easy to install. Had it for almost a month, so far holding up really well. No signs of pealing! And I am very hard on my stuff. I drive a trash truck, vamo sits on the dash and slides around a lot. The black chrome is scratched on the battery cap and the head, but the wrap still looks brand new. Highly recommend! Exhale vapors has a good deal for the VAMO and the wrap. Got mine for $50 shipped to my door!

* should appease the fanbois lmao
