I've been vaping since late February and I have yet to fry an atomizer or carto, even though I chain-vape for much of the day. My most-used hardware consists of 900- or 1100- mAh 510 batteries (mostly Liberty Flight's -- and all of them still live), and basic attys with carts, basic cartos and two eGo-T type B's with tanks. No industrial-strength mods for me, yet.

I'm meticulous about cleaning. Used attys and carts get the isopropyl alcohol in ultrasonic cleaner treatment, plus replacement of the polyester, every week. Used cartos get long multiple steeps in hot water.

But I rotate through at least five separate setups during any given day. I never let the attys/cartos get more than about 20 degrees above room temperature on the outside. So I don't think my attys/cartos ever get up to full temperature for very long. Maybe doing this is the key for my long-lived attys and cartos.

You will always be limited in the amount of liquid. 2ml in the larger tanks on the larger tank atty. 3ml in the largest cartos. A bit more with a juicebox/bottomfeeder kind of mod with a little juice bottle in it or with the modified CE2 tank cartos that add something fatter as a tank.

But you can greatly increase battery life and also if want, heat (though LR hear uses battery faster). You have 180mah battery, Fat battery models and mods start at 650mah charge time up to 1300mah and some may be more.

Simple way would be some kind of Ego. 510 threading has the most stuff. If you want the option of sticking a bottle in or having variable voltage for heat then you need to go to a mod.

Right now I use a 3.7 boxmod and I vape all day with it with no problems. Batteries are maybe 3 months old and still work just fine. I have a 5v boxmod on the way from silent soldier on the forums and I cant wait to see what happens with it. Anyways get yourself a 3.7v boxmod from one of the modder on here for 25 bucks and you will be set. I think it is the best overall. Cheap and gets the job done. If it breaks throw it away and get a new one. I also use the CE2 Clearomizers on it and they rock! Great taste, great vapor

I agree with womanofheart. Ego or Riva fat battery (1000-1100 mah) with some dual coil cartomizers will knock your socks off. I would stay away from Liberty Flight's 510 batteries though. I have had less than good experiences with those.

I have to agree with the eGo and the dual coil cartos. Vaping on that setup as we speak, and it is amazing!

Nothing wrong with the Riva or eGo 510 or 901 models as they are definitely better than what you have. However, if you are truely a heavy vaper (as I am) then you should consider moving up to a good 5 volt or variable volt PV (personal vaporizer/ecig). These will most importantly get much closer to giving you the "inhaled feel" of an analog (cig). Plus they will go about 6 hours on a battery charge and the batteries only cost about $3.87 each and have a much longer life span than the little batteries like you currently have. For 5 volt models I would suggest the following:

GLV2 - 5 volt version: Electronic Cigarettes and E-Liquid - Great Lakes Vapor

5 volt box mod: Box Mods

For a review of many of the better battery models on the market, look at this site:
