Looking for a more durable tank

So after ordering about 8 bottles of different flavors (a website had a sample pack deal going.) I popped in some lemonade flavor and the mouth piece of my tank broke off, it was already cracked so i didn't think too much of it. Then yesterday was my birthday so my girlfriends aunt bought me a whole new ecig, this time an evod that requires removing of the tank to charge. Not sure what they are called but the old one was able to charge while in use.

Now in the new one, i liked the lemonade taste so i tried it again, and with in five minutes that mouth piece broke off. Brand new tank. So i did a little digging and it looks like citrus flavors have a bad habit of breaking tanks. That's fine. What i want to figure out now though, is there another kind of tank that fits an evod but is more durable?

My issue is the citrus flavors are the only ones i can catch even a hint of flavor from (i have no sense of smell.) So i need one that can hold up the citrus without being ruined in five minutes. And preferably doesn't cost a fortune to buy.

Here once the local store opens i plan to give them a call and at least get this tank replaced, and check if they have something better but they don't have a great selection either. So if i need to buy something offline, i just need a name for it first.

Thanks

Lots of people worry about the glass tanks breaking; I haven't had much of a problem. You can always get a couple of o-rings and put them around the glass to serve as bumpers. (Also replacement tanks are available if you do break one).

You might also want to check out the Nautilus or Nautilus Mini with BVC coils.

I prefer being able to see how much liquid is in the tank, so I've never been crazy about all-stainless tanks.....

I will have to check with the store here, or maybe just buy one online. The only issue i think i might have with online buying, is making sure i get a tank that fits my new ecig. It seems that two are not interchangeable. Both tanks work with the "charge while in use" ecig but that ones tank wont work with the other ecig i have. It doesn't seem to get a connection.

I prefer to use my newer one since it has a nice brand new charger.

As for o-rings, i have plenty of old coils that i could steal some seals from, assuming they would fit. The picture i saw of a glass one make it look like they might.

Do you know the brand of your new e-cig?

Sometimes the center-post on the battery can get pushed in (or is too low to begin with). You can usually fix this by gently prying up the center connection a bit, or get a 510->ego adapter, which seems to solve the problem on my mods for which this is a problem (the MVP is notorious for this issue, but many other batts suffer from it as well). Also, tighten your heads "just snug" - since over-tightening will make this problem worse.

The adapters I am talking about can be found pretty much everywhere; they look like this:

(They will cost a bit more locally, but you'll get them a whole lot faster!)

I plan to hit up the store today (if i can get my lazy girl friend to give me a ride) figure i will take this back and hopefully they will credit me the cost of the tank and then let me use it to get a glass one. But if not i went ahead and ordered a Aspire et-s clearomizer with a pack of five coils for now. Should have that by Friday if not before. For now if the store wont let me use the credit for a tank i will just have to suffer through using the one taped up tank that i have now. We used plumbers tape to keep the mouth piece on but it still leaks a little bit. With that one the metal tube that runs down the tank stayed attached to the mouth piece so i can at least use it for now.

Here in about an hour the local store opens up so hopefully i can find out if they will work with me on that. It's only the day after it was sold so I'm hopeful.

As for the battery itself, its a KangerTech EVOD is all it says, has P1404 on the bottom. The issue that i have with the tanks, i think is that this one only has maybe 5 threads for the tank to screw onto, while the other has maybe double that if not more. So when i screw the others tank onto this one it doesn't seem to go on far enough to give it a connection.

Although i suppose i could just switch the metal pieces that the coils screw into. Least then i could use the new battery, even if the tank is still broke and taped. The older battery that have is missing its charger and i have been using an old phone charger that fit it, but i kinda think that's a bad idea. Plus that cord is chewed and broken, last thing i need is an exploding battery lol. And with the luck i have been having with these things, i wouldn't be surprised if it happened.

Called the store and they wont replace the tank. They say its user error, not that they ever told me that citrus breaks tanks. But i have the one on the way anyway so i will just suffer through the taped up tank until that gets here. The local store is charging 13 bucks for a glass tank anyway, i paid a total of 7.95 with shipping for the one i got,

Call me stingy but i don't think "right now" is worth 13 dollars lol.

I kinda feel bad for my girlfriends aunt though (she bought it for me) considering it was a birthday gift and it broke right after using it.
