I have been using the stardust with a 650 battery for a few weeks now. The tank got a little crack in it, so I want to replace it.

First of all, it drips sometimes. I am not crazy about that. I also get some dry vapes, and for some reason I find that these are sometimes more irritating than the others. I have to puff a few times to get some vapour going.

I find that I get a better vape when the battery is newly charged. Perhaps a more powerful battery would make for a better vape?

I also find that I can only get a good vape when the tank is really full. Maybe it's a bad design, and the tank should be smaller?

I have those little ego-t tanks, but I hate them as they are very difficult to fill since they have a tiny hole. I wind up with juice spilling everywhere, blech.

So what can you suggest to me as my next e-cig? I would prefer it if the joy-etech batteries were compatible with the new one, but I am open to changing to another brand.

I just got an ego mini 400 mah and a vision spinner 1300 mah and love both of them. Spinner similar to twist with variable voltage. I know everyone speak highly of mini novas, but when I heard they mute taste, I got the Phoenix bottom coil (Ce3's). They don't leak and have great flavor. You do have to fill them with a syringe that comes with it, but really easy to use and clean. I've got the ego rapid charger to charge both. That was my step up from the cig alike that I started with and they work great!

The Ego Twist and Vision Spinners are good value for the money, and have served me well for almost a year, so Tajji's suggestion is spot on in my opinion. I'm also a huge fan of the phoenix/firebird bottom coils - if you have the patience to take them apart and clean, they'll last you forever (I'm on the same 5 I bought almost a year ago now).

I've also started using the Kanger T3 and am really enjoying that. It's a cooler vape, but have had 0 issues with leaking, flooding, burning, whatever. Super easy to clean, easy enough to recoil, and performs better than my vivi nova. The T2s are pretty good also, but I hate tipping so I prefer bottom coils.

And, well, which of those do you recommend? I have to say that I like clear things, but I imagine a cartomiser will be impossible to clean, and whatever the spongy material that it is filled with is, it will probably be unpleasant tasting and probably toxic if and when it starts to burn due to dryness. Just saying... that is how it sounds to me. I have never used one, so idk if I am visualising them as they really are or not.

Like this one: https://www.canvape.com/product-p/pfnix.htm It says cartomiser, and afaik, that is something with a sponge in it. But it looks clear, like a tank, shrug. Anyway, it is clear, and has a bottom coil, so that would be the one I would get. But I don't like the idea of dealing with sponges.

Oh no-says cartomizer but to me it is a clearomizer. There is no filler. You found the right one. It's clear-holds 1.5 ml. You do have to fill it with the blunt tip needle/syringe which is supplied, along with one rubber drip tip. It is really easy to use and really easy to clean. You should check out Got Vapes review by steeljan on you tube. That's what convinced me. Phoenix Ce3 Bottom Coil Clearomizer. It's the exact same as Canvape. I didn't like anything with filler with vg as I couldn't taste anything!

I too was just going to chime in about the wonderful world of reo's :). I just use regular cheapo boge carto's on mine and I'm more than happy with the vapor and throat hit I get, even with my mini.

I've been using mine for about a year and a half and never felt the need to look at another ecig. If you're interested in box mods then they are pretty much the ecig that will not die...or crack...or need wires replaced...and so on

I have been using the stardust with a 650 battery for a few weeks now.

Well based on what you are upgrading from, I'd suggest the following set-up:

eGo twist or spinner (more power options) combined with a vivi nova 2ml or Kanger T3.

Easy fill method, and a nice vape with any ohm device.

Now, if you want to take a leap into a more robust PV, look at the Vamo or the eVic from joyetech. But that would be a much larger device than what you are use to now.

BTW...the Reo is the best choice for a bottom feeder, it's my "outdoor adventure PV", takes a beating and comes back stronger. However, it's not everyone.

my sister was having the same problems so i gave her a LR attomizer to try dripping , she was against the idea but i told her just to try it , after one da she loves it , even though your dripping more often u get a strong consistant vape , more flavour and i like it because when u crave a smoke you put 2-3 drops and then put it away so im not chain vaping just squashing the urge for a smoke , i use a reo thogh

Glad to hear so many good comments on the REO. Just took the plunge myself and ordered one last week. Got broken in to the whole bottom-feeder thing with a VModXL. Unfortunately, the plastic assembly broke last week! Fortunately, they said they would honor the warranty - even with the obscene amount of epoxy that my better half used to try and fix it. However, that said, it certainly made me realize that bottom-feeders are the way to go for me. I just want something that works simple and simply works, you know? Anyway, decided it was time to push the button on a Reo Grand. Can hardly wait now! For now, I'm back to my Twists and Kangers to get me by until my VMod replacement part and REO get here.

To the OP, if you are not interested in a bottom-feeder, I certainly recommend the Twists for price and efficiency. Dang ... now I'm going to have to go back and see if that's what you said you had in the first place! I can remember the 'Ego' part ... just not the rest!

I have ordered a whole fleet of ego twists so I can have different colours and sizes! Love 'em...

If you're ordering off Can Vape, maybe pick up a couple of vision nanos - only 1 mL but easy to fill, and I think you just throw them away. Maybe you can clean them, but I HATE cleaning so I just use them for about a week, then into the garbage and get a new one! They are only $3.49, have had no leaking problems, nice hot tasty vape, bottom coil (little holes draw the juice in.)

I also vape mostly fruits, so I can't tell if the flavours mix too badly when I refill, but I just put one flavour on top on another when they get low, and the new flavour comes thru pretty quick.

I ordered 2 of these to try them out, and I just re-upped with a bunch more on my Sunday order.

I also really like the Vivi Mini, but after a week it was time to change the wick, and I am too lazy to do that, so right now it's kind of just sitting, dead on the counter, waiting for me to fix it. :(

The wife and I have 5 ego twists 900mah. There only a cm longer than the 650mah twist. Have been flawless. Now we have quite a few T3's Every one we used worked good for a day or three then started flooding. Cleaned them and still had flooding. We've switched to a carto and tank set up. Pop and extra hole in the carto and vape away. Haven't had a problem since. No washing the cartos out there only worth a $2 a piece and last upwards of 2 to 3 weeks. I did some research on washing them out but its hit or miss whether or not there any good afterwards.

Oh, I see them from the link in your sig. Those are... not cheap!

Yah the reo's aren't cheap, but they were built to last a lifetime, and that is not stretching the truth. They have no wires to fry, no parts to come loose rendering the mod useless or whatever. Reo's have been run over by cars, dropped in coolers full of ice water, left out in the pouring rain and many, many hard falls and all us reo users have had to complain about is a few dings :)

They may not be for everybody because of being a bottom feeding box mod, but for others they are a god send :)

And you can only get them new by going to reosmods.com. as no other supplier carries them. Its understandable if you're a bit leery of spending that amount to get something you're not familiar with
