Ok, Rose v2, non stumpified on left with Aqua v2 on right. Even on the same mod for good comparison.
Nice, you will definitely like the Goblins small size and flavor. However if flavor is the only thing you're after you might like something else better, roxy owns a million rta's and knows all about it. The best flavor I've got from it so far is with 26g kanthal, 2.5mm coils at .5. Which also reminds me the Goblin is a dual coil deck which means it takes longer to build/wick and it drinks more juice, the deck is also super tight, precision clippers are mandatory, small scissors from a cosmetic kit would work too. So, yeah, in closing, great flavor, huge easy draw with airflow open, but sorta high maintenance. So I would say if you all you care about is flavor and don't mind a restrictive draw, you could probably get similar or better flavor in a single coil tank that would be easier to mess with.

Thanks for the pictures. As Dioxyde mentioned i've been scouring for similar threads and most of them have you posting in it, so i'm taking your considerations and suggestions to heart. Since the goblin is atm very hard to come by, i might just get something else in the mean time.

Maybe the Lemo drop would be the best one to start with.. Decisions decisions, heh!
I've already put pretty much every tool i need in a wish list and will be ordering them at the same time as all the other stuff. I have no clue about the gauge on kanthal though but will spend some time reading up. I'm also on the fence of which mod i should get, but leaning heavily towards a Istick 30w.. It's just so damn ugly though.
A good all around gauge is 28, especially if you're just getting into rebuilding.
The Aqua, Rose and Goblin all have afc. On the Rose and Goblin it works via an afc ring. On the Aqua it works in conjunction with the juice control by rotating the tank. Tip: hold the Aqua upside down when you adjust it so it doesn't force juice into the chamber.

I agree. I use 28g for most of my RTAs. I would probably use 26g on the Goblin though.
I have istick 50W as you probably noticed in the photo. I guess I don't think they're ugly. They are comfortable and portable, and I love the battery life.
The Sigeleis are boxy, but work very well.

Skip the 30 Watt, and go for the 50 Watt Istick. Awesome mod for the price, and TONS of battery life. Twice as much as 30 Watt, in fact. The Lemo Drop will fit nicely on it.
As for Kanthal, I'd recommend having a spool of 26 and 28 gauge on hand for use in RTA's.
Thanks everyone. I went ahead and ordered a couple of RDAs/RTAs from the angelcigs clearance because it was too cheap to pass up. I'm also set on the Cloupor Mini (even though there's a slight chance it'll catch on fire, lol) since atm i don't think i need a 50w unit. It's also dirt cheap and being able to change batteries was something i actually wanted, and i also love the design. I'm not into rounded corners and glossy metal so that's why i'm not buying an istick.

I'm ordering from gearbest and i'm looking at the different kanthal sizes. I see some marked as both 26 gauge and 0.4mm. So i'm a little confused. are 26 gauge always 0.4mm or what should i be looking for? I'm getting 26 and 28 gauge as per your recommendations.

What clones did you pick from AC? I know they're cheap, but some of them are really bad. I want you to have a good experience with one that works out of the box.

I got the AQUA V2, EK Style, the Orchid V4 and some drippers. I kind of regret getting the Orchid and some of the drippers since it got way too expensive but oh well. At least i won't have to buy any other tanks (well except for the goblin of course) and probably never any new drippers for a long time.

Yea i'm gonna cancel that order. I don't need all that and since the goblin is available at GB, i'm just gonna get that and all the accessories (tools and such) instead.

The Orchid is probably pretty decent. The EK, well, some got ok ones, and some didn't. I'm not sure whose Aqua v2 they have.

$15... you can definitely get a good Aqua v1 clone for that because its not popular anymore. I got an HCigar one on ebay, and its excellent quality. Shop around and you might find an EHPro kayfun lite for that. For $20 you can get a Tobeco k4; love mine. Orchids are cheap, especially on FT.

So I received what i thought would be the Goblin but got the Goliath Instead because of a mix up from froginfog.
They now want me to either ship it back (to china, which will probably cost a lot), and i'm guessing they won't refund me for that cost. It's either that or i have to pay the split difference for the Goliath (about $7).. Which to be honest, not too keen on doing either.
I'm looking now for anyone in Europe that might've gotten a Goblin instead of a Goliath and might be willing to trade? I've posted on some of the swedish forums first in hope of finding someone local, but i'm not hoping for much.
I might even be willing to trade with someone in the US but for now i'm searching for EU first. Maybe i should make a new thread..
