I asked Vicki at Cignot.com, authorized distributor for the Joye 510 cartomizers. She said "Those are filled by Joye... they only have PG." One option would be to buy the empty Joye cartomizers and fill them with VG juice yourself, which is not difficult. You can just hold them with the battery tip upright and place a drop on the little hole in the metal tip, and it will wick into the carto. About as fast as it disappears, you can have the next drop ready, and before you know it you have put 20 drops into it and you're ready to go! If the drop sits there and doesn't go into the carto, just give a few gentle taps on the table, still holding the metal end up and tapping the mouth end. It may have a bubble or something keeping it from flowing. It really goes very quickly and easily. Be sure to wipe off all juice from the carto before attaching the battery, and if it leaks a little bit at the connection point, take the battery off and dry it again, just to protect the battery. Could you please remind me again, srcowell, can they be filled from the mouth end after removing the end cap? Is the end cap the same as the Boge 510s? I've been trying to find a picture that shows what it looks like on the mouth end (that is, the cap and inside where you have to puncture something).

It sounds like it's similar to the Mega cartos, in which you need to fill it with a syringe and needle at the mouth end (unless you fill them your way at the threaded end or use the condom method at the threaded end).

Thanks.

Joye 510 cartomizers should not be filled from the mouth end. I hesitate to say it's impossible, since that's so absolute. There is a removable plastic barrier on the mouth end, between the outer mouthpiece (shown at top of illustration) and the fill port. Here is a picture from the Cignot.com site, provided by Joye as an illustration of how to refill the eGo cartomizer, which is very similar in construction.

This barrier will keep juice from flowing into the filler material, and even if you removed it, you can see from the picture that the fill port is a small bottleneck into the filler material. From the mouth end, the syringe is the only way to get juice into the filler material.

Refilling these cartomizers, or simply buying empty ones so you can use your own choice of juice, should be easy, not akin to surgery! My method is very easy and quick, and not messy at all if you are careful not to overfill the carto.

Whew! So much information for something so simple!

Ah, thanks for your reply! It looks like they are similar to the eGo Mega cartomizers then...remove two plastic things on the mouth end, then insert needle into the little hole and fill with liquid. I have five of the Mega cartos and like using them to vape, but I'm getting tired of filling them (having to use a syringe and needle).

Maybe when it's time to refill them again, I'll try your way and fill them at the threaded end.

I doubt I'll buy any of the regular Joye 510 cartos, though. I like being able to see the filter (and fill it easily) when removing the soft cap from the Boge 510 cartos.
