Looking for good throat hit

So I have been using my Kanger protank II mini, Kanger Evod, and Iclear 16 all on vision spinners 1300MaH. Recently, I was out and about and picked up a v2 disposable e-cigarette. The flavor is good, but the throat hit is absolutely amazing! It's 1.8% nicotine strength. My question is, what is it in e-liquids that makes the throat hit? Or is it the more the atomizer that determines throat hit? And are there vendors that sell nicotine-free e-liquids that give a good throat hit like that v2 does?

Nicotine is the main thrust of Throat Hit. PG carries it more sharply than VG. Capsicum is a peppery additive that simulates throat hit.

Some like the kick from menthols, others cinnamon or anise.

The higher the PG level, the better the throat hit. As far as a vendor that sells juice with no nicotine, check out this website, http://ejuice.moonfruit.com. I know some of the vendors on that site sell juice with no nicotine.

90%+ of throat hit comes from nicotine level. PG allows more of it to come through and VG mutes it to a small degree. Additives like Capsicum do not actually duplicate the throat hit from nicotine. In fact no additive does. Capsicum (basically pepper) will provide a burning throat irritation but not the throat hit provided by nicotine.

There are some additives like menthol, that provide a throat "sensation" that helps low nicotine eliquid be more satisfying to the user but don't actually duplicate the TH from nicotine.
