Have you checked out the Trifecta? I haven't grabbed one just because of the price, but it's a manual, auto and passthrough with a 10 second cutoff in standard size. $40.00, but since you prefer passthroughs it may be worth the price for you.

I saw that and was intrigued, but other than the cutoff time there are no specs whatsoever. mAh, size, voltage? There have been a lot of possibilities I came across that I counted out cause of lack of specs. I'm too lazy to try emailing all these places and would probably lose track of who's talking about what.

I came out of my lengthy search with an idea to start a web store targeted at ECF regulars who value information over hype.

Sorry, I get grumpy when I research this stuff. It's just so hard to compare all the parts cause the specs are so inconsistent between vendors. One lists length, another capacity, another just says "ours are the best". And I still have no idea which threading KGO, VGO, and most of the other *Go's have. Gah. Headaches.

Also, Halo G6 and Smoov are 808 style with horizontal Cartos. Halo is due to come out with a bigger battery shortly and there is talk of a Smokeless Image VV.

Can you tell me more about the bigger battery Halo is coming out with, or is there information somewhere online I could read about it? Thanks

Thanks yet again Johnnie for the info. I'm still not keen on $40 for the Trifecta without the complete specs, but being able to broaden the search to vGo and tGo stuff will help :)
No problem. ;)

I know the vGo brand comes from Kanger; I've seen iGo all over the place; I've only ever seen tGo at Northwest Vapors. As far as I've been able to determine, they all seem to refer to the same device unlike say, the eGo and kGo.

All 808's run at 3.7v, although they come off the charger at 4.2 and then wind down. The only exception I've come across is some passthroughs. The Kanger vGo's are regulated, so maybe the iGo and tGo aren't.

I own/have owned The Volt, Bloog, Smoov, V4L, Elite vapor works, Halo, Mistic, V2, Kanger, and no they arent all the same. Put bluntly (sorry) Vlot Bloog and Smoov are the best preforming HANDS DOWN. I have done and seen tests and nothing keeps consistent voltage and battery life like those three. I know tropical vapors and elite vapor works buy from the same manufacture as those three but I know elite isnt the same quality and havent tested tropical vapors myself yet. Check out steeljan's review videos if your really technical and need real education on how they are different, that woman is AMAZING. I do buy cheap cartos in bulk from china but I cant take cheap in my devices.

Despite all the rave reviews, I haven't yet tried Volt only because I'm mainly interested in extra-long batteries (in the ~400mAh range), which very few vendors seem to carry.

I got two of them from Bloog but I'm honestly not ecstatic about them so far. They look nice and seem to last, but they put out a veritable trickle of vapor. The site doesn't specify, but I'm assuming they're supposed to be 3.6 or 3.7 volts regulated -- and the cheapo fat battery/passthrough I got from o2vapor ($17 for a 900mAh, which also says 3.7v regulated) produces MUCH more vapor.

And, while I'm mentioning o2vapor -- I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality of that device. I was not expecting something so nice for the price, but the look and feel is right up there with the more expensive brands (the outer rubberized finish is more velvety than Bloog's), and so far seems to work very nicely. My only little quip is that the pull is slightly stiffer than I'm used to from other two-hole 808 devices. I'm considering ordering a couple of standard non-fat batteries from o2vapor now; just wish they had extra-long ones.

You could take a look at the M3 batteries. They're slightly fatter than a standard stick battery but thinner than a vGo, and they're manual only. Unfortunately, the only place I know of to find them is NHaler and Drew only sells them in kits. They're 480 mAh batteries.

EDIT: VaporFlow sells them in kits as well, but they're even more expensive than NHaler.

The CigEasy Elite is the same thing, but it's a 380 mAh battery. Fortunately, CigEasy does sell them individually.

IIRC, health cabin sells them also.

Yeah, Health Cabin does sell them along with some other Chinese vendors. I haven't ordered direct from China yet, and since I only make small orders I likely never will.

I'd like to order a couple hundred cartos from VFast and maybe a few batteries but the shipping is pretty steep
