Hey guys. A little background. I have had the Reo for about a month or so and I love the how simple to use it is but I am lacking in the flavor department. I have a RM2 with stock airhole running a 1.0-1.2 ohm coils. I have tried 28g and twisted 30g with similar results. I have also tried cotton and silica wicks. I use 18 mg nic if it makes a difference. I still get more flavor out of my kayfun running 1.3-1.5 ohms on a provari. So what should my next attempt be? Higher ohms or open airhole up? Could it be nic is too high? Just looking for my next way to try.
Thanks in advance.

I'd scoot it out from the posts towards the edge of the atty. it needs to be as close to the edge as you can get it without the risk of the top cap touching it. I think that will help a lot. The amount of wick looks just right. I know that a lot of Reonauts have lowered their nic level when they started using rebuildables. You might try diluting your juice a little. I really think just moving your coil out towards the edge will help a lot.

With either PG or VG (for diluting.) PG is a little hard to find, but VG can be found at some Walmarts in the pharmacy section. I usually find it near the alcohol and the caster oil. Ha. It comes in a 6 oz. bottle for about $3.88. Made by Humco. The bottle will say "GLYCERIN."

I buy my PG at Tractor Supply $20 for a 1 gallon jug. It has a use for treating cattle eye infections among other things. 100% Propylene Glycol U.S.P. grade

Read this if you have a time.

RattlerX, that's where I buy mine, too. Actually, the last gallon I got was from Southern Agriculture because Tractor Supply was out. But I thought the VG at Walmart might be easier to find in a pinch. Not to mention the fact that at Tractor Supply or Southern Ag, you HAVE to buy the PG a gallon at a time. Since I usually mix my DIY with 10% max PG, it says a lot about how long I've been DIYing to tell you I'm halfway through my second gallon.

I agree with you that the VG from wally world is easy to find. It is how I got started in my DIY adventure. I do not use much PG either and still have 2/3's left out of the gallon I bought 8 months ago. Since getting the REO and using a higher VG mix in warmer climate (West Texas) I should have enough to last a few more years.

It is nice to know that there are supplies around without having to order if you need them.

Definitely agree on diluting! When I first got mine I think I was on flavor overload. I was getting so much that it was overloading my taste buds. Now I dilute, about 1/3 of the bottle vg with the rest my juice. Works out perfect for me with a 1.4 ohm coil. Sometimes i even drip some VG from the top when I'm chain vaping and feel my taste buds start to wear out. So if you find the coil placement doesn't fix your troubles that's the next step I'd say!

I also have my air hole drilled out just a touch to 1/16. And I do think that helped also. I did it myself with just a drill bit on the RM2. But I seem to be a lung hitter. Ymmv

When I bought my first Reo - I was vaping 12mg nic...Ialmost knocked my teeth out on that first vape! Now I am down to 3mg and have just changed to 100% VG organic ( Open Source Vapor) and I'm loving it! I lung hit so I drill out the stock airhole 1/16 but hubs MtL and likes the airhole at 1/16 too with a wide bore drip tip. I cant vape "ming" style drip tips any more either!

True 1/16 has that going for it : you can do mouth to lungs or direct lung hits, both will work. Smaller or bigger, you lose that capability.
I know i'm a lung hitter, but on some juices i recently found myself using a small drip tip and doing mouth to lungs because it just feels more natural (it's a very flavorful blueberry / 555 combo i tend to vape while drinking coffee)

Edit : and I must say i tried my rm2 without drilling at first because i was at work and very impatient, and found the vape very subpar with the stock airhole. I was probably at .6 ohms or something though so that was silly with a hole that small.
Still, i find .5 with 1/16 gets me flavor country on the rm2.
Also obviously you really need to have the coil lined up with the hole (which is pita since the topcap is threaded and you might end up ruining your coil if you manipulate it too much, depending on gauge) and be sure the squonk hole is not obstructed. I ended up just putting the hole side wick between the posts instead of laying near the hole because it will often obstruct it after some time.
