Yes the Stingray works with a Kick, it doesn't "come with" a Kick.

You can purchase a Kick 2 here:

Kick 2 - Kick and Crown

Check out the Stingray clone threads to see what models people are using, and what potential problems a given one may have. There are a couple different China manufacturers that produce various models of that clone, and not all are equal. Overall people love them though, good choice.

- EDIT: It also just occurred to me that you being new to mechanicals, means that you are most likely not too brushed up on battery safety. Let me make this really simple for you:

Purchase some SonyVTC5's from the same vendor that I gave you the Kick 2 link to. RTD is a VERY trustworthy vendor, and the price is fair.

So the Nemesis has that already if you get the complete thing, I wouldn't need to buy that separately?

No the Nemesis does not come with a kick module.

If you get a Nemesis, get one that includes the tube for the kick so you have the option to drop in a kick module.

Depth 22.5 mm
Height 130 mm
Width 22.5 mm

The short tube of the extreme right looks like the kick tube

nemesis clone:
[quote][img]https://fasttechcdn.com/products/170/1700802/1700802-1.jpg
Depth 22 mm
Height 109 mm
Width 22 mm
Diameter 22 mm
Product Weight 116 g
The kick tube would be either the 3rd or 4th one from the left.

Note that with the 3 above examples, 1 is 23mm, another is 22.5mm and one is 22mm.
So tubes from one may not necessarily fit in another.

Clones, also might not have the same dimensions as other clones.

Oh ok. Damn, this is gonna get expensive fast....

When looking for a mech, if you get one that includes room for a kick then at least you have the option for a kick with your standard sized 18630 or 18350 batteries and not end up having to buy a whole new set of different sized batteries.

REO's are a little out of my price range at the moment. Does the Stingray come with a Kick like the Nemesis does? If so I might get the stingray, since it comes with the magnets and the Nemesis doesn't.

•Houses single 18350/18500/18650 battery
Maximum Supported Battery Length 80 mm
Depth 22 mm
Height 102.1 mm
Width 22 mm
Diameter 22 mm
I'm thinking the kick tube is either the 3rd one from the left (or that could possibly be a 18500 tube) or the short ring on the far right (or isn't that the locking ring?)

I just bought a Copper Nemesis, and it's great, kick ring included, and adjustable pins etc.
I'm waiting on the "kick", as it's not the same shop.

I've also ordered a Panzer Mod (a clone, I'm not rich!) which I've not got in my hot little hands yet, either, but it does sound a good choice, except it's more square than round, and I don't know about it's kick possibilities with 18650 batteries. I did read, but it's 2nd hand news, that you can use one by adjusting the firing or top pin. This sounds rather odd, but apart from that it does sound like a good, heavy mech, with adjustable everything ;)

I'm longing to get my kick, as controlling the wattage will be much better than controlling the resistances. I use my Vamo for resistance measuring, by the way, although an Ohm controller with 510 threading is only 10 or 15$.

Good luck with your mechanical mod adoption. You won't have those beastly electronic glitches any more, that's for sure :D

K100+ VV - Comes with Kick - Silver - Vices Electronic Cigarettes

I was just pointed toward this in a PM. Comes with a Kick, good price, and takes the batteries I already have (18350 for my coolfire). I'm not a huge fan of the look but it may be a good learner till I know what I'm doing and can get something more aesthetically pleasing.

With a vv kick you can just set it to the battery nominal voltage of 3.7 volts to start with.

And I think that k100 is telescopic; perfect for a first time mech mod. Don't have to worry about having exactly the right sized tubes

So this piece would be a good choice, then if I decide to subohm at some point I can just get a different battery instead of the AW one I have now?

I could use my MVP to figure out the preffered wattage for the resistance/flavor then use the calculator to determine the right voltage right?
You could, but the kick needs to be taken out of the tube each time you want to change it. It seems like it might be a bit of a pain. Clones or first gen Evolv Kicks can be had for $10-20.
