No cartos, Katdarling. I prefer top coil clearomizers and RDAs. the clearos for travel/work, RDAs for quiet nights at home.

I had NLV GOLD in an iClear30 and it was fantastic from the get go (the 2012 GOLD). This time out, fresh bottle of NLV GOLD, and fresh coil in a trusty T2. I prefer Ekowool over silica, but clearomizers use just plain silica... haven't been able to afford the RBAs yet, but one day

I highly suggest you give the x.jet a try. If I didn't have all the stuff I already have and was starting over right now, I'd probably just buy egos and X.Jets and call it a day. Course, my Hybrid or my EMDCCs would have to still be in effect for the GOLD, lol

I'm really glad you mentioned that! My beloved NLV Gold, like every other NLV liquid, does not require steep (maturing) time. That's one of the rare and wonderful things about NLV in general... not releasing a drop of liquid before its time.

It usually DOES have to do with what's on top. Each topper has its own little idiosyncrasies (challenges?), and the taste of our vapes is SO dependent on that fact. Do you ever use just plain cartos with any of your flavors?

Remember that first taste of it before it was aged as much, though? The first released bottles before the buying craze? Not that it's not just as good or better now, but WOW, what a unique taste it had at first. Butter caramel popcorn, hardly any tobacco flavor coming through. Then it melded into what we all know and still love today.

jefs, dunno if you shop fasttech at all, but there are some very reasonable RDA/RBAs over there. Kemo can be the ultimate for recommendations. I still haven't fallen in love with anything with a home made coil, so I'm useless.

Some new toys today....

After much humming and more humming pulled the trigger on a couple of DNA20's the first of which was delivered after 11 days of ordering. Given the custom options and was posted from Hawaii rather impressed by that.

Also picked up a MVP V2 for fun. If noting else it can help charge the DNA !

Thanks retird! Seems the bottom coilers are all heading towards doing dual coils these days. I don't much care for clearos, but the Aspire line has actually been decent! I'm guessing this X.Jet would be similar, eh?

No, I don't shop FT.

If I spend my hard-earned cash, I need my product in my hand within the shortest period of time, and FT can not deliver that, so they do not get my limited funds.

I have discovered that NLV vliquids perform exceptionally well even at low voltages, and the best flavor in these T2's seem to be 3.5-3.7 volts with the T2's 2.2 ohm coils. Which is nice, which means I'll get even more battery life out of my MVP

Those Xjet's look interesting, but I'm really not a fan of bottom coil clearos.

Well I got my first bottle of Gold about a week and a half ago. I had to try it and felt it tasted too sweet. Tanked it today and it is pretty dang good. Sweet carmely inhale with a mild tobacco exhale... just right. It does get better after a short steep when freshly mixed.

You'd probably also like Twilite, since it's less sweet with more tobacco impact and a great TH.

Oh, and I have determined that that new package of coils I received are actually 1.8 ohm coils and someone ticked the wrong box. I have one filled with a NET now, and had the same experience with it...
