Hey guys, I new to posting, but had a question if anyone had some info. I have a reo mini and grand, they are good mods, but I can't seem to find a consistent way to feed the juice to the atty. I either get a decent hit, very faint hit, and rarely a great vape. Its a very convenient mod to use, but the quality of hit makes me either feel the mod is what it is for 3.7 volt, I'm flooding it or some other factor I'm unaware of. If anybody has some knowledge to pass along that would be great, thanks.

I don't really know what to tell you, but on a Grand/Woodvile/Mini I can get like 5-6 hits before I have to squeeze the bottle again. Are you using a 510, or 306 atty?

push on bottle and hold it kind of instead of just pushing and letting go immediately. Hold til you see the slightest amount of juice coming out of the base of the atty.. that works for me. quick pushes are not what you want to do. You will get down the feel after a little bit of success..
You say you have a Grand - have you tried 6 volts? That's what I use and I am very satisfied with the "hits". The only time I really have any problems is when my batteries are about to die - I often don't expect it and just flood the atty. It isn't a real problem because after I realize what's going on I simply change the batteries and I'm good to go again. Sometimes I need to pull the cap which holds the feeder tube, up, otherwise when I screw the bottle back on the tube can be too long and kink, which makes feeding juice more difficult. Very rarely, I clean the button point where it contacts the battery terminal if I feel the connection is a little weak - maybe once every month (and I use this everyday, all day)

I don't have a REO. I use a homemade bottom feeder though. If you aren't flooding, one thing to keep in mind is that how much you need to squeeze is effected by the juice level in the bottle. You need to squeeze more when it's lower.
im a "mini" and my best "hits" are with cartos. when i use 510 or 901 i get too much "air". haven't tried 306 yet
I have a Mini and a Grand, as well as an eGo and a KR808. My eGo has a 306 atty and my REOs both have LR510. With regards to the REO, it's a bit of a learning curve as opposed to dripping or cartomizers. Sometimes, the bottle press/squeeze gets juice up into the atty, sometimes not as effectively as I'd like. I've been battling with the flooded/dry atty from time to time. One of the things that I've tried is to lightly squonk (squeeze) the bottle while lightly dragging (no button fire, no atty light) until I hear the liquid come up or feel a slight resistance (meaning I'm not just sucking air up). If all is well, I vape. If not and it's flooded, I blow out the atty or swing it to disperse the juice. Juice mix makes a difference too.
Try the "blind sqonking" method. Lightly draw on the atty (without firing the mod) while pressing the bottle until you hear any gurgling or feel any resistance, then you should be good to go for several drags. Also, if you are using juice with a high percentage of PG, you may need to use the reducer tube (the small piece of tubing that fits inside the feed tube) to keep it from auto-feeding.
Thanks for all the replies guys, I have been busy with school/work. I think I have tried a LR EM 510, reg EM 510, cisco 306, joye LR510. Despite all this I have given up using a straight "atty." I switched to cartos ><. Heh, I honestly never liked cartos, I once owned a wetbox and thought cartos were kinda lame, but after using them on the reo grand they perform very well, I think I may have forgotten how great regular attys taste, but these are very consistent for me and are near full proof for my vaping habits as I rarely flood them. I also decided cartos are best as I'm not great with getting back to sellers when I get a bad atty. In my experience of vaping, over a year now, I've began to see that getting "bad attys" is just part of being a vaper and with me being slow at responding and not really wanting to deal with sending stuff back cartos are cheaper and come in 5 packs so if 1-2 are bad in a pack I still have the rest of the pack to fall back on, which is still a rare occurrence. On a side note I got some of the smoke teck dual coil cartos from madvapes and they produce great vapor, but for me the TH is too intense for my chain-vaping. I'm not sure but I think possibly the second coil doesn't receive as much juice and burns hotter as I believe it may be higher up inside the carto to receive squonks therefore requiring me to to top off every so often which currently kills the idea of using them regularly. As the all in one idea of the reo is what its all about for me. I'll get back to them soon I know, but I'mtaking a break from them until my other cartos die out. Forgive my post for being all over the place, thanks again for the ideas on using "attys" I will probably get around trying a regular atty sometime soon and keeping everyone's tips in mind.
Blind squonking as noted above helps a lot but I've found that using the Noalox really helps get a strong consistant vape.
This may sound crazy, but I've found that different drip tips can severely change the nature of bottom feeders. I have no connection, other than liking them, but I've found on the REO and the Ali'i that the best in my opinion seem to be the Cherry Vapes tips for 306 and and 510 drip tip with a wider mouth. YMMV
