Looking For Schematics On A VV Mod. Video Included.

SteelJan left me hanging on this deal while I was waiting on parts. I now have no reference to put it all together. Here is what I have. Some things left out of the clip.

Momentary switch that's built into the mod is normally open.

The led meter has a lot of room for mistakes when installing it so I wonder if I want to show voltage do I need to just hook the wires on the end tabs that say + and -? I would just buy a cheap mod but im saving for the Z standard and have invested all the money needed to make this.

I too would love a instructional VV mod video! I also have most parts just need to see how to wire it up, willing to learn how, but I also am stumped!

I used that vido when I built my first vv mod ,on the volt meter you use this first post on the neg side - to ground and the next post to + power or on your Momentary switch .I believe that's right .

Found it. The switch to cut off the meter was added and is optional, but recommended to save battery life.

In the center position the meter is off so you don't need an additional switch for off.

I see, I see. Im my case I do need another switch though cause I bought a two pack of the two ways lol. No big deal though. Its a cheap price for a more user friendly mod. Next time I go to town a stop at Radio Shack is in order.

Here is a new model I just wired. This 2596 comes with meter installed and uses jumpers to switch. I am converting the jumpers to switches.

Im so envious. I want a "line" type also. I just to happen to have a Vision 3.5ML that I hate like a Cobra snake in my pants, but noticed you recommend the smaller one. I would guess the bigger one could work or be modified to work?

I also use the larger and cut them down to the sleeve I will use.
