Hi, I'm looking for a tank with massive airflow that accepts pre-built titanium coils. I'm aware that some different tanks can share coil heads, so I'm asking you experts for some help on this. Here's the bottom line:

1. Don't want to use nickel coils.
2. Don't want to build.

Also...

1. The mod I'm going to be using is a eVic VTC Mini, with one battery, so while the TFV4 looks like an awesome tank, I'm afraid it will be just too demanding for this little mod. I want something middle-of-the-road size.
2. I love both my Kanger Subtanks and my Aspire Atlantis V2, but for the sub-ohm vaping I want to do with the TC mod, I'd like airflow more on the side of the Atlantis V2. Lung hits on the Subtanks feel restrictive to me when "going all the way" as it were.

Here's the TL;DR section:

I'm in a bit of a quandry. The TFV4 looks like just too much of a tank for the VTC Mini, in terms of battery life and juice consumption. I could be wrong, opinions are welcome. I love the Subtanks, but I want more airflow and I can't find titanium coils for it anyway. If there are TI coils that fit the Subtanks, that could be an option. I've looked at the Joyetech Delta II reviews, seems like a lesser-quality tank, though it does have off-the-shelf titanium coil heads. Not sure about materials quality, or airflow on this one (sounds like it may be about the same as the Subtanks).

I'd love an Atlantis V2 pre-built titanium coil head. From my limited experience, that's what sounds perfect to me. So if anyone has any tips, advice or anything else (go ahead, make fun of me for not wanting to build coils or use NI200, I'll just smile :) please help!

I am biased to the FTV4 since i love that tank. and if you are using Ti prebuilt coil it will have the same strain a Ti atlantis coil head will give you but you will have the airflow to take it "all the way" as you stated..... not poking fun i just never heard it put that way i normally just go with a lung full hit. but yeah when it comes to temp control the wicks are all going to be similar on how they fire on your evic VTC.

Thanks Larry...it does seem to make a difference with the coils you're using, for instance a triple coil has much more surface area, thus more smoke, thus more eliquid being used, or at least that's the way I thought it worked. Bigger beefier coils with lower resistance also need/draw more power, is my understanding.

I am definitely leaning towards the TFV4 at this point, maybe the Mini which is starting to come out in the next few days. Can't seem to find a black one in stock anywhere!

I'm using the Ti coils in my TFV4. It's not bad.

My problem with the TFV is the only premade coils that have REALLY good air flow is the quad. Nothing else seems to compare in the SMOK line up. Again just my experience.

My IPV3 Li does the 100 joules in Ti so I use this setup for that device for TC.

sd3614, I looked long and hard at the IPV3 LI, decided I didn't need that much wattage. It's definitely next on my list of mod acquisitions though, pretty much nothing wrong with it.

As to the TFV4...I realize the premade coils are gonna have different airflow, but I'm sure ANY coil on the TFV4 is gonna lean more towards an Atlantis 2 than a Subtank ;-).

Ratpackid, I looked at some videos of the Melo 2, looks kinda promising...but one video said the airflow was comparable to the Subtank (I want more than that), and it had other drawbacks (lame filling space, hard to see juice levels, coils might be using the ceramic stuff). I guess I'd need to see one up close to judge completely.

Still leaning towards TFV4 Mini, but the Melo 2 suggestion is exactly what I'm looking for, things I haven't thought of before! Keep 'em coming...maybe a tank with massive airflow that takes titanium coils from some other tank?

Thanks guys!
