They are actually pretty easy to make all on your own. Here is what you need...
1) A Soldering iron and or course solder

2) A drill (with a bit slightly wider than the wire you intend to use)

3 )An old cartomizer

4) A battery connector (Silver 510 Battery Connector, Sealed)
-- note that the inside of the positive is hollow... Yhis makes it MUCH easier to get a good connection.

5) A few lengths of red & black, multi-stranded wire.

6) Shrouded alligator clips.

Howto put it all together...
1) Start buy gutting the old carto and cleaning it out. I've found that hemostats do a good job of getting into the carto and grabbing all of the innards.

2) Use you drill to drill 2 sets of holes oneabove the other. (Drill straight through the other side so that you have a total of 4 holes... Two on each side.)

3) Carefully... remove the positive terminal from the carto. Do your best to not damage or remove the rubber gasket. It can be a pain in the ... to put back in...

4) Do the same thing with the battery connector... Remove the battery terminal without messing up the rubber insulator.

5) Solder wires to the positive terminals. Hint... Use longer wire than you think you need. It's easier to trim them up after everything is assembled than it is to realized that your wires are too damned short after everything's in place.

6) Thread the wires through the positive terminals and out the holes on one side. Make sure the positive terminals are seated properly in the rubber insulators.

7) Thread a 3rd wire through the two holes on the other side so that it isn't toughing anything other than the steel carto tube and tack it into place with a little solder.
-- note... the solder won't stick to the stainless steel carto tube. Don't sweat it. Just make the connection the best you can.

8) OPTIONAL... Fill the tube and the inside of the connector connector with silicone or epoxy. The reason... You will eventually get some juice down inside which will cause a slight short. It will be in the mega ohms but still makes it a pain in the ... to get accurate readings. Plus it will lock everything into place making it more durable.

9) Press in the battery connector and clean up any mess caused in step 8.

10) Remove the shrouds from the alligator clips and solder them to the ends of the wires.

11) Replace the shrouds.

12)You're done... Start testing!
