Vapor Flask and the dicodes are really expensive. I was looking for more affordable if possible.
I hear the H-Priv's battery door is tricky to get back on.
I agree, the flask and dicodes are pretty pricey. I think you can find the vaporshark flasks for around $90-$100 but I wouldn't have one due to their issues with the rubberized finish. smok also makes the x-cube, seems as though it has a different battery door.

I think the new VS that uses a DNA200 board would be perfect. Great chip, top mounted screen, excellent battery life, and made by a USA company that stands behind it. It checks off all the boxes except inexpensive. If it was in the $100-$120 range, I would have already ordered one myself.

Cheers,
Steve

The Ultra looks fresh, but whether that means it's ready for primetime remains to be seen. I'd want to wait until they're in the field and reviewed by trusted reviews afore pulling the trigger.

It's a good point. Who do you trust as a reviewer. I see a lot of folks reviewing and it's hard to tell who is giving straight info. Like that Rip Tripper guy, what's up with him?

While I love watching videos from several reviewers. Only trust reviewers on electronics that actually test and show their documentation for those tests. Mods are not a feeling. They are science and scientific testing will reveal which mods work correctly and how they work. For me that's DJlsvapes and Pbusardo. It it's more subjective like RDA's and RTA's. Then guys like GrimGreen are while biased to some degree is pretty straight forward and vapes just about every way. Others I watch are Rubyroo and VWT420. But they each have their niche in the types of devices and how they run them through their paces.

I guess ripper appeals to a certain segment of vapers but he's lost on me. I like DJLsbTech, he's pretty thorough, and he takes the mods apart to show the guts. P Busardo is alright too.

Smok just announced the X Cube Ultra. Has Bluetooth, top screen and controls, 2 x 18650, claiming 220 warts, magnetic battery door, etc. No idea on price but I'd expect it to be in the affordable range. Typical Smok rectangular design. Big but not as big as the X Cube II.
the new smok xcube VIBRATES! "to give you the sensation of batteries that are about to vent and erxplode when using at 220w!" whatever. good mod that does what it claims at a good price.
