Looking through the window

You know the window in the door where the bottle gets squonked. Well i don't like the batteries showing red it doesn't look good to me at all. What i do now is put black electrical tape around the bottom of the battery and it makes it disappear. At least it is an optical illusion of some sort. I love the way my Reo looks and this trick/tip makes it look way better imho

btw did you know the spell corrector thinks squonked should be spelled squeaked.

Next i will try the o-ring tip i saw here somewhere to make the reomizer look different.

I wish i could find a paint to put some dots or lines on my bottle but i haven't yet because it doesn't stick. maybe a little sticky star could be used.just one

I will try that and report back The trick is to leave enough room to see the juice level.

I will be experimenting with all the suggestions for the bottle. It is just the texture is very slippery to work with.

On a diff note, Has anyone swirl painted their Reo? I was watching some vids on how to do my guitars, just wondering if anyone has tried it.

I think you will need to sand and prime in order to get paint to stick.

I always set my REOs down at an angle, so I don't see the red.

If you want to mark the bottle. Heat a needle and draw lines on it with the point of the needle. Of course you'll have to do it very lightly to keep from damaging the bottle. I used to mark 35mm film cases like that on the top.

I have some duck tape sheets, they have cut out shapes on them, I think mine are stars . the ones I have are glow in the dark, I haven't used them yet but, its another idea

That would be pretty awesome. I've thought of getting a Reo and doing it like Eddie Van Halens guitar(s). Would just need a red Reo and some black and white tape.

I was thinking of hydro wrapping but after some research, the cost would be too much for 1 piece. You have to buy the film and the activator and sealant. Swirl painting would just require the paint and clear coats, and pretty much any oil based paint will work as long as there is no gloss mixed in it already like model paint.

EVH REO grand would be sick.

He says the blue is lighter than my REO blue, and they don't have purple. So he says just use the black, he has plenty of that!
