I am thinking about getting a rebuildable tank. What are some of your suggestions. I don't want to spend to much money, so in thinking a clone will probable be best. I was just wanting to see what you guys suggest and what places can I look at for a one stop shop. I want to be able to buy the tank, wire, and wicks from the same place. I am vaping on an innokin svd.

I started with RSST, which is a genesis style atomizer, meaning the tank sits under the wick. It's a great rba, when it is wicking properly, but it can be a pain in the .... I then got a kayfun lite and I'm loving it! Builds are easy and the flavor is amazing using a dual nano coil. The only problem is it's a pain to properly fill. You can top fill but then you risk leakage. Sometimes, not always.

I would suggest buying your supplies from eBay vendors. I got a 100' each of 32, 30, and 28 kanthal for less than 30 bucks. You're not gonna get close to that when buying from an online store.

As far as online stores, I have used 101vape, kidney puncher, and a few more that I can't recall right of the top of my head.

You'll get a million recommendations for a Kayfun/Russian clone, and that's my suggestion, too. Easy to work with, excellent flavor and vapor. It's the one.

You'll do a lot better price-wise if you purchase your wire and wick from somewhere other than a vape store. I get my wire on Amazon ($6 for a 100 foot roll of kanthal), and buy sterile cotton balls from the first aid section of CVS.

I held off on a kayfun for the longest time but finally broke down and haven't looked back. I now have 2. An ehpro kfl+ and an ehpro kfl+ v2 from eciggity both are great but the one from eciggity has a bigger airflow and no whistle. Both are great once you go thru the learning curve of refilling, how to wick best etc. all of that is on YouTube or if you have a good local b&m to show you how to best do the coil and wick you're in even better shape. It took around 2 refills/er wicks to get it right. Both were right around the $40 mark which is about the same as a nautilus but you never have to buy heads again. So actually cheaper

I'd suggest the Kayfun also as Novamatt said. I started with a SvoeMesto Kayfun and I loved it. Sturdy build and will last plus the tank can be swapped out for all glass or all metal to suit your preference. But the choice is ultimately yours. Just read all of the opinions from other posters that are sure to follow and make up your own mind as to which road you wanna take.

Building the coils is beyond easy - don't think twice. I do 10 wraps of 28gauge kanthal around a 3/32 drill bit and it lights up at 1.7ohms. I've only built 5 coils and 4 worked just fine (first one I only did 6 wraps and my Provari wouldn't read it due to low ohm).

I have an authentic KFL+ and it's nothing short of amazing. All of the troubles I had in the past with heads dying out, leaking, burbling, gurgling, etc are all gone. Not to mention the taste...

I did just purchase an authentic Russian 91% and it's nice as well but the build quality on the threads is not nearly as impressive as the KFL+ but it gets the job done.

If you build the coil wrong, you just throw it out and try again. That's the beauty of a rebuildable. Also, there are a TON of youtube videos you can watch on building coils for the Kayfun if you want to see what it's like. It's not nearly as hard or complicated as people make it sound sometimes.

Coils: Get them from eBay. Temco makes them and I believe sells them for the lowest possible price. Shops are a complete rip off when it comes to kanthal.

Atomizers: You'll be fine with a clone. If you're going to build dual coils, you may want to consider a close with a "block" positive post (this gives you 4 holes instead of 3). Check out the Helios, Omega, and Stillare clones.

I started with a KFL+ clone and it wasn't a bad choice, easy to build and works nice, the whistling was pretty annoying though. I picked up clones of the Aqua, Taifun GT and Flash E-vapor v2 and my best all around has been the Aqua (with clear tank) The Flash E-vapor is quite nice though, I set mine up with cotton tank and coil wicks and with too much cotton the tank seems to get pressure locked however it's so easy to resolve I have not bothered rebuilding. *Just checked 101vape and they have the Tobeco FeV on clearance for 19.99, the full version with dripper cap/drip tip, extended tank and clear tank section, hell of a deal. That said my recommendation would depend on if you want to try a single or dual coil atomizer first:

Dual coil: Aqua

Single coil: Tobeco Flash E-Vapor V2
