looking to upgrade to mech mod

Hey everyone, so I started vaping in February as a way to quit smoking for my birthday. Well that was easy, who knew, but now I'm looking to upgrade to a mech mod and have everything picked out just wondering if it will all work together. I'm currently unemployed so I'll have to wait until I get a job to actually buy everything, well here's the list:

Kamry K101 mod
Scar rda
Efest IMR 18500
Plus a charger, drip tip, kanthal, and cotton.

Will be upgrading from:
eGo C-twist 1100mah
Iclear 16 or aspire bdc

Just wondering what anyone thinks of this.

Did not see any mention of a safe fuse for the mech.....
Get one, battery safety first. Then I saw you want to put an RBA on it.
Get the 3$ insurance. All the mechs here run with a safety fuse, safer is smarter.

a fuse and kick are 2 different things, although both do deal with battery safety!

you can use a kick which would regulate the wattage. find your favorite setting and leave it there. The fuse is more of a protection circuit. It goes between the bottom of the battery and the spring bottom of the mod. It protects from short which can be damaging to the battery and the mod. The kick also add's the same level of protection.

other thing to have when it all arrives is a way to test the resistance. You would need a multi-meter or one of those ohm meter boxes.

Doing some more research now and I get what your saying about the safety fuse. Turns out vividsmoke, where I had planned to buy most of this, actually includes the fuse with purchase of the mod. Though seeing that package, hhmm, seems to be about the same for a little cheaper...bookmarked!

The only thing I'd suggest is use Sony VTC3 or better batteries instead of the Efest. They're safer and will last longer.

honestly I piece it seperately for a better result. That set up is definetly a newbie advanced set up(not the most ideal). Get a k100/101 for about or under $30 from a source you like. 2 sony vtc4's and the i4 charger from illumination supply about $40 and you can use code ispower for a discount. A trident clone(has adjustable airflow) which will allow you to start building coils above 1ohm(recommended for beginners). Then as you start getting better at building you can do lower ohm and dual coil builds and it has the ability to evolve with you since you can adjust the airflow. Trident clone's can be had for around 15-20 bucks.

Large bored out air hole's and sub-ohm isn't always necessary for an amazing vape. I personally love a single coil 1-1.2 ohm mirco coil. Best vapor and flavor output you can find.
