I've been using the Volt 900 mahs(not a vv device). I'm so sick of filling the plastic clearos and having problems. I am looking for a new device vv of course! Smokeless Image only carries 808 stuff. If I upgrade to their vv device I then need to purchase separately a charger, etc. I'm thinking maybe I should bag the 808 style cause there's not a lot of options out there for tanks, cartos, etc.

Then there is the Vision Spinner and many others that look exactly the same just different manufacturers.

So here's what I think I want....I'm only 5'1 so I don't want to heavy...I want stainless...simple vv device...well made...BUT don't know anything other than clearomizers that waist precious juice and are a pain in the ....!

Any suggestions on a great set up for me. Don't get too technical as I'm new to vv. I need the whole kit and caboodle!

Thanks in advance! :D

Definitely move to 510 format. Vision spinner or ego-vv would be a great first step into VV without getting into the larger devices. innokin MVP might be an option for box mod, maybe even an itaste vv/vw.

Depending on what clearo you are using now, you may be able to find better options. The kanger style, such as the evod, is a great one that works very nicely with ego style devices.

I second dr g's opinion. The iTaste VV/VW V3.0 or the iTaste MVP. I have both and are great devices. If you don't mind getting batteries and a charger, aside from a new device (there are kits which include everything of course) the vamo might be another good option, but if you want a no hassle device, the iTase MVP might be the one. As for clearomizers, I would recommend the EVOD too.
By the way, if you decide to get the MVP make sure you ask the vendor if it has the 510/ego threading, the one with threads on the outer part, so that you could use pretty much everything without an adapter.
Hope this helps some. :)

ordered from both health cabin and fasttech, and actually fasttech has some of the best warranties in the business.(6 months) lol strange i know. sadly most US vendors just say a month and then your on your own.

i dont know the products but i trust the vendors.

and the provari is simply the toughest most reliable mod on the planet and i own several and comes with a 1yr warranty(2year optional). and can be thrown against the wall lol.

something to think about if you want to get something to last and not play with this stuff. while everything will work for a while cheap is cheap for a reason. you sound as though you dont want to waste money over and over.

I've ordered from Fasttech before and aside from the longer wait time, I've not had a problem with them. However, the last time I checked, the iTaste VV V3.0 was showing, "Ships in 5 business days", so you would probably wait about 3 weeks at most for it to arrive. Usually the tracking goes like this: Depart Hong Kong (they are in Hong Kong), Depart San Francisco, CA, then to your destination. So if you don't mind waiting, I would recommend them due to the low price. If not, Fasttech does have a return policy, I think it was 45 days.

Hi Thrasher
Leary about ordering from China...if anything happens to the devise I'm screwed! Have you ordered from China before? Scared!

Also you can get most of these chinese devices from US sellers who will service the warranties in the US.

Trying to bite my tongue about the provari suggestion, suffice to say that the provari is in a different size class of device, mini or not.

That would be the last thing I'd do ... I'm not real fond of the provari gang chiming in on every thread like this.
well lets see. obviously the OP doesnt want to waste money,
asked for stainless.
worried about repairs or returns.
so its only logical to offer someone like this one of the more solid values.
I own everything from 30 dollars up to over 200 dollar mods and if you notice i listed cheap as well as a provari.

so whats the problem with the "provari gang" as you call it. so everyone else is allowed to suggest something unless its a provari?.

ego? sure, cheap and disposable.
china mod? sure, cheap and no warranty.

if buying a cheap VV i would at least buy it somewhere like fasttech as they are one of the very few people who put a warranty on stuff that usually doesnt have one.

not all provari owners are rabid fanboys.

If you want a VV device that's not big, not a box, then your choices might be limited to the ego twist, vision spinner, or the iTaste VV V3 for now. The twist and the spinner is not that different from the Smokeless Image twist, the only difference, as you put it, would be that it is a 510/ego thread or a 808d. If you don't mind the size, then as Thrasher's recommendation, the Zmax mini or Provari mini. My friend has the Provari mini and it is a nice and sturdy device, and of course reliable aftercare, but is a little on the high side as to pricing.

Edit: wait, does smokeless image have a twist version? Can't remember for the life of me...

Kudos to you all for trying to help the helpless! It's like being in a penny candy store and trying to select one piece.
I'll take the plunge but not before my investigation is over.
Maybe I'll have to blame it on my ADD/OCD!

I want to sample all of them!

Great suggestions though,,, but going from a device that litterally hangs from my teeth may be tough though.

No worries, we've all been there. I went from an Inferno(basically an ego) to the Lava Tube, a Maxi Roughstack(mechanical mod), back to ego, and now the iTaste MVP and iTaste VV V3.0! Don't get me started on delivery systems, too many to list but now use EVOD and Boge cartos.:D
We all have SHINYITIS: the disease which makes you jump on everything shiny and new!!
So take your time and don't rush(easier said than done :D), and you will eventually find one you will like or maybe even grow to like box mods, you never know. In the end, it's what you like, not what people try to make you like.
If you need anything else just ask away, we may disagree with one another, but agree on one thing, we all here for you!:)
