Why does the battery need a button? The adapter already has one. So if the battery is always on, then the button on the adapter works just like an eGo.

Yeah... That is what got me started. I Also bought a Yubi 8400 mah charger, and it works with the USB/ego adapters too.
That one is $26. Then the adapters are from $6 to $9 depending on where you go for them. So.. For $32 - $35, you can have a 3-step vv 8400 mah device. But I would recommend ordering 3 or more of the adapters... I've already broken one of mine . Ya don't want to bang your groceries sideways on ANY PV!!
