OMG Tucson has introduced roundabouts. They're terrifying (the other drivers) I will go a FAIR distance to avoid them. LOL. It's not good planning.

I do that. If I have to go to that part of town I get out google earth and figure out how to avoid them. Cutting through parking lots if need be. But soon I won't be able to avoid one, it's the only way to get to Bass Pro.

But as far as the UN goes I understand the vaping thing. Big corporations rule the world and they like to keep their money. I do not understand why they have to torture us with stupid traffic things.

I just checked, plenty of roundabouts in the Milwaukee area. And you know if the internet has state maps set up so you can avoid roundabouts nobody wants them.

Oh I LIKE THEM. Driven around the huge one in England whatever square. LOL. On the WRONG side of the road, even. Give me a driving CHALLENGE I do great. I usually mess up when I'm parking or in a parking lot, etc.

North Americans don't know how to USE them.. They are actually SUPREMELY efficient.

I can't wait to backseat drive the kid, and I must say I think his interlock whatever, well, that thing IS an AI. It takes about 5 minutes and a LOT of blowing to even start and it has a real time GPS and it can tell if "anyone else" drives the vehicle. LOL. I'm going to backseat drive the hell out of him, he for sure did it to me.

IT IS AN AI, I"m telling you. LOL.

How can anyone not like Roundabout?

Oh wait, I suppose you fine folk are discussing traffic circles?

I probably wouldn't mind them. I grew up with a square in the middle of town, big roundabouts on the interstates in NJ. I resent a foreign body telling my very local government how to run my life.

This is the world vaping opened up before my eyes with the same speeches being given around the world. It was just a fun conspiracy theory until ecig activism.

The most bizarre traffic "thing" I ever encountered was long ago in New Jersey. Was there for a few months for training. Didn't know my way and needed to make a U-Turn. Sign says , "U-Turn here" but it was on the right and takes you all over the place and then you eventually end up on the other side. The town was full of them.

U-turn to me means you turn around to head in the opposite direction using the left lane. Never seen anything like that -- all rights. (btw UPS rarely turns left --they use mainly rights and train that way Why UPS trucks (almost) never turn left - CNN) I think they now call it jughandles or something and removed many of the dumb U-turn signs. At the time we were kids and thought it was hysterical and used to joke, "u-turn -- turn right and travel a 1/2 mile"

No offense Jersey folks but no wonder why they say Jersey drivers are amongst the worst.

New Jersey has the worst drivers, according to WalletHub study

Is this for real about the UN mandating roundabouts? I thought it was a conspiracy theory joke when I saw it in this thread. I always assumed road work decisions were made on the basis of some contractor having friends or relatives in local government.

I grew up with roundabouts back home. I've heard that at low to medium traffic levels they are way more efficient than lights at keeping people moving, they briefly slow you down as opposed to making you stop for 5 minutes, especially if you're turning left. I suppose that assumes people know how to navigate them though, which isn't the case yet in America. Over here they scare the crap out of me.

I've seen videos of EU/UK roundabouts. You all don't know how to navigate them either.

If you search "UN Agenda 21 roundabouts" you'll find plenty of those sites talking about it. I would be prone to still think it was conspiracy theory except for ecigs teaching me there is a conspiracy.

Also if you find some of the comments about council meetings on roundabouts from opposition it sounds exactly like ecigs. The councils' minds are made up and there is no talking to them.

Haven’t been in a vape shop since this ban but I’m very disappointed.. I’m pretty picky when it comes to my liquids so like to try them out before I buy them but now I’m going to end up with flavors that I don’t care for just wasting. Pretty pathetic.. I hope some will still alow it after all it is Milwaukee lol

I only went into shops a handful of times, mostly when I left it too late to order on-line. Did get a few good juices out of it. I tried flavors I wouldn't have expected to like. On-line I had a hit rate of about 1 in 3 so I wasted a lot.

How can anyone not like Roundabout?

Sorry for the (turn, hehe see what I did there) thread has taken but I was actually discussing road furniture. LOL, that's what I call it all. Not sure I'm a fan of a roundabout that turns so slowly that I can't even feel it... Okay, maybe somedays I feel I can.

My main favorite roundabout was that spooky acid-like "Magic Roundabout" show I think it was British too, but No Child Ever should have watched that show, (I have as a child, and also as an adult, it was weird both times.)

Mainly I am trying to CHEER up and PEP and RALLY for Milwaukee, the latest city to FALL on the sword of vaping activists long before it was even MANDATED. If this keeps up there will be no need of actual deeming regs whatever they turn out to be and etc.

The hijacking of threads needs to stop.
Thread is not about traffic roundabouts.

Sorry. I really meant it to be about the outside forces that are controlling our local governments that we've seen going on since Duluth fell with councils that have their minds made up on ecigs and the meetings are just for show.
