Nicotine dissolved in pg or vg absorbs much slower. I feel anything under 100mg is safe to work with. Just don't be stupid about. Where gloves, have stuff ready for spills, common sense. If contact with skin wash with cold water you will be fine. Keep away from all pets and children. Last but not least I think its obvious don't drink the stuff. Any over 100mg I would use more precautions. buy a blue test its a must for every DIY Person. Ebay search nicotine test. Everyone should know what they are vaping. Just my input

Yeah I've been looking at there site for a bit now..I think I'm going to take the plunge but only get nic in 24mg so it will be safer to mix and I can just add flavor to it..at least until I try it to be sure I like there stuff..they sell 24mg for a reasonable amount but I know the higher the less expensive..I think I'll buy a 500ml bottle of 24mg at the recommended 70%pg and 30%VG for starters and with flavor my juice should come out around 20-22mg nic.

If you're using higher than 36mg nic make sure to at least wear a mask, safety glasses and gloves because it can make you very sick..I think as long as you are buying 100mg and under you would be ok without the hood and splash guard but if you spill any wash with (cold I believe so your pores close up) water fast so not much gets through your pores.

Nicotine in high concentrations can be very dangerous..such a danger that one drop of pure and it can kill a person..I saw an interview of a hit man in prison who used to use nic to kill people by just dropping a drop on their arm passing by or putting it in food. 100mg is far from pure though..just be careful..especially careful around children and pets...

I guess all those years of working in the lab has made me bold (i.e. lax). I use the 60mg/mL and I only wear one glove (my right hand). Of course, all of my stuff is in dropper bottles, so it is easy to handle, and I use proper lab procedure (if not proper safety procedure). I did once get several drops of straight 60 mg in my mouth before (unrelated to mixing it.... long story) and I didn't get sick. I would definitely exercise caution, though, and definitely keep away from children!!!

BTW, my WL nic came in and so far is is pretty clear with a slight yellow tinge, just like the stuff I got from ecigexpress. I've been using it and I like it.

Yeah a couple of drops probably wouldn't make most people sick as long as you spit it out and rinsed after..some people though get a reaction just vaping normal levels of nic. I bought the 500ml 24mg nic, about 30 flavors today, 10-10ml syringes (plus I already have a few 3ml ones),a couple tips and 5 pairs of XL gloves today.

I probably won't even use the gloves (might not fit good anyways as I wear 2x XL gloves) because it's only 24mg and I have a nice solid desk to work on with good lighting. I will however either be wearing my reading glasses or a pair of safety glasses but not lab style ones just something to try to avoid a direct splash to the eyes. I have a sink nearby and I know my house really really well so I could find it even if slightly blinded as I can find my way around even in the dark.

I might go into using 100mg in the future to save money and if I do I will buy a mask, splash guard/hood, a pair of goggles and wear appropriate garments..but at the prices for 24mg I might not I mean we are talking just under 5 cents a ml and the flavors are not much either so it's easy mixing just add flavor. I also plan on just keeping the bottles of nic flat on the desk when opening and only using syringes to pull it from the bottle to minimize spilling.

I don't have any children to worry about and my desk is in a room where no one should go but myself usually. I don't expect any issues either. If I use more than 48mg or so I will be overly cautious and that is all I was recommending..plus if you don't warn people to be overly cautious you just know someone will hurt themselves, someone else or a pet :)

Cool I can't wait for my order as I just put one in today. Just don't be over confident because 60mg easily can make you sick if you spilled enough on your skin, in your mouth or eyes..in your mouth/eyes it can be absorbed very quickly too. So really you should be a little "afraid" so you're more careful. I know I could handle 100mg no problem but I'm taking the careful route to start out.

I also could save more with 100mg but to start out I'm already saving a lot as it's just under 5 cents/ml for the 24mg nic in a 500ml bottle that I only need to add flavor to. If I added 10% flavor (although I will start out at about 5% as recommended) it will be costing me about $0.07186125 (just over 7 cents) per milliliter which is almost 20 cents cheaper than I've been paying from a vendor.

The yellowing scares me a bit though. Does that mean a lack of potency or quality?

Neither. When Nicotine contacts air or light, it oxidizes and turns yellow. It's a normal process.
If your nic doesn't turn yellow when exposed to air they've likely added an antioxidant preservative to it which isn't something I'd want. I prefer the yellowing.

You can limit how yellow it gets and how fast it gets there by limiting your nic juice's exposure to air and light. Storing it in a dark, glass bottle with a self sealing cap and extracting juice from it with a syringe without opening the bottle is the best and easiest way.
