I have read a few forums on here and am disappointed in what I have read. I have gotten a penstyle E-cig. I wont mention from where cause they no longer offer it. But I have been very happy with it. But the more on here I read I realize the more who want look more then functionality out of it. Mine has lasted me 3 years with the same antomizer and original batteries. But still ppl want more look then how long it lasts. I have had many friends look for better looking styles but have them crap out on them after only a few months or just not be durable at all. Sorry but I felt it needed to be said, we as consumers need to demand we buy the best and have them last. I dont want to have to go out every couple months just to buy a battery or filter. Hope everyone enjoys your E-cig and it has done for you that it has form me.

I think most vapers actually do keep it simple and relatively cheap. Here on ECF we've got the most intense vapers who want the newest coolest stuff and it's become a hobby if not an obsession. I'm somewhere in between - I use pretty basic stuff but got a couple mods (used, total cost $85) for the long battery life. None are pretty - a long and short Roughstack which you can drop from a window or run over, and a big ugly plastic box mod that can last all weekend. That doesn't mean there aren't plenty of vapers here using mini and pen-style, it's just that this is the place to find out about the newest things and share with a great community. Some people need to bling it up but who cares as long as it keeps us off cigarettes?

Speaking of pen-style, it's come full circle from what your have - search for the eGo-C. Pen clip and all!

Welcome to ECF and keep on vapin'!

View attachment 69831 This is the closest ive seen to a group Lynching here on ECF.

I was thinking WOW .. VF style

So the OP only vapes on Christmas Eve .... it's doable ....
I would imagine that if I chewed up enough tooth picks I could make an atty last that long. Got a couple sitting in a drawer that are maybe 6 months old.

I was just wondering what magic wand of the vaping world was even available 3 years ago.
Much of the stuff in use today didn't even exist.

Maybe this is a setup. Like, maybe it's an angry wife who is sick of her husband buying mods and cool new pv's with all of the needed accessories. She wants us all to agree with her, tell her that "antomizers," batteries, and filters really DO last 3 years and beyond, so she can finally call bull.... on her vaping husband?

Now that she is finding out that she is really, really wrong. She will apologize, buy him 5 new toys and 10 new juices.

Sorry but I don't put a price on my health and I consider the value of vaping in regards to my health as PRICELESS

It's more about portability to me than looks. Okay, I admit I wanted the cigarette look and feel the first time. But then the constant recharging and refilling was a hassle. I upgraded to an Ego 650 maH plus 2.0 ohm cartomizers. The combination is still remarkably small and just slightly fatter than the look alikes. That's probably it for me. I don't chain-vape and treat it like a real cig. I only use it to satisfy my smoke cravings.

Naa. I'm not going to upgrade any further to shiny PVs. I will feel very rip off buying one worth more than a high end electric shaver or hair trimmer, which is far more complicated than what's basically a flashlight.

Yeah atomizers don't last three years.

But, as far as people saying they haven't been around for three years, they have, just not mass marketed. I remember my father (a nonsmoker but electronics engineer and enthusiast) bringing one home while I was in high school to show me and my mother what "the future of smoking" would look like. This was in 1997 or 1998. He picked it up at some conference/trade show. He puffed it a few times and put it in the closet, where it probably still sits.

    Is that right
Ruyan Group Holdings Limited, based in Hong Kong) was the company that invented the e-cigarette. In 2004, Ruyan first introduced the e-cigar and the e-pipe, and in 2006 the Ruyan E-cigarette, orV8, became available on the Chinese market.

Funny what google can find (invented 1st e-cig)

Maybe if you use it once in a while for a couple hours if you're out drinking or something. There are those people that only smoke when they drink.

Day in, day out on the same battery is improbable. Unless you have a pv that defies the laws of physics. If that's the case why on earth would they take it off the market? A battery is a battery.

You really don't have a clue what goes into a higher end variable volt or variable wattage model. Not saying it's like a military drone but they are much more than a flashlight. Glad you are a light vaper and don't need much, but there are many that vape completely different than you do.
