I know exactly what you are talking about... I love my Riva 901 ,but it just seems like the carts (or at least some of them ) are a little loose. I'll take a nice drag and end up with the cart still in my mouth when i stop ! LOL
I've just been dripping on the atty which is awesome. You could try a few thing to tighten the fit... But when i must use a cart (driving) I just use one from the box that fits the tightest....
I have had the same problem with the EGO/Riva 510. Sometimes it helps to switch around the carts and attys til you find a snugger fit. (I had 4 in service at a time).
I Recently switched to Genuine Joye Cartos and of course, that eliminates the problem entirely.
When im due for a new atty , I plan on trying valuevapor.com .It looks like the 901 atty come with a blank cart (Hopefully a snugger fit) with a flat tip . For $4.99 an atomizer i guess you cant go wrong ...
You can actually take a safety pin, open it up, heat the pointy end of it w/ a lighter and then touch it's side to the side of the cart (that goes in the atty) and it will melt a little bump in it and make it fit snug again. There's a video somewhere, I'll see if I can dig it up and post it.
Here it is. He does it on a 401 I think, but the idea is the same and it works w/ 510 carts, I've done it several time, just melt a little bump w/ the pin on the outside of the bottom of the cart and it will make a tighter fit.
I've found - for whatever reason - that the loose fit of a cart is more prevelent on the round tips than the whistle tips. Didn't study it, but that's what I've noticed.
