So is the general consensus to wrap tape around the battery to fix this? (saw that in Tips n Tricks thread) When I grab it off the table, you hear and feel the door gap. Not a problem at all on my Grand. Don't really want to bend the door either. My concern with tape around the battery is that it then pushes the battery more out of the cavity which might impead the firing pin from hitting the top of the battery. Tape on the inside of the door might work if it isn't too thick causing problems sliding the door on/off.

What say you?

Let the door stay shut an the magnet/s get use to each other for a while,,, they should create a nice magnetite bond and hold after a while, pretty much how they all are I believe,, its only magnetically held on RocketRod,, but once there stuck together for a while it should be fine, give it a while.

A simple bend of the door it will be snug as a bug .This is one of those things were if I do it myself in the shop some customers are unhappy if I don't others are unhappy its a no win for me .We have happy flickers schlick schlick and some folks hate the sound. Pull the door down just past the top of the plunger hole bend it slightly slide the door back on it should be tight .If you go to far you can bend it back .
