Cherry Cola is the first DIY juice that turned out really well for me. I'm a total DIY rookie just trying to follow the format Piratesbelay recommended in his YouTube video using LorAnn Flavors.

Cherry Cola seemed like a good blend, and it works! I hadn't seen the combination mentioned in this forum. I'm sure I'm not the first to attempt it. Have you guys tried it before?

I really like the 2 vendor mixed cherry colas I've tried. I try to DIY one using TFA flavors and didn't like the result. I had much better luck using Capella's Cherry Cola (15%).

I haven't tried any LorAnn Flavors yet. What percentage did you use?

I used about 8% Cherry and 8% Cola. Using a 10ml graduated cylinder, I started with 1.8ml nic (100mg). Then I added .8 Cherry and .8 Cola. Then I added 6.0ml of a pre-mixed VG/PG solution I keep handy. The final .6 is straight PG.

I like using the 10ml graduated cylinder and the 100mg nic. It allows you to keep the math straight without too much calculating.

I bought a cola from a vendor before I started DIYing, and it was so perfumey that it made me gag. I let it sit around for a couple of weeks and it was still awful! I've been scared to make one of my own, but I'm subscribing to this thread for ideas and I will definitely check out that video!

I've read that some people add champagne to soda pop flavors for a fizzier (in case you're counting, that's the third made up word I've used in this post :p) effect. Has anyone tried that personally, with any luck?

Sounds like a nice recipe. I have those flavors so I might have to try it out thanks.

I'm not a modorator here, but I'm trying to help grow a very good thread for those of us who are venturing into this DIY area. I'm trying to help compile some simple recipes in another thread so biginners can have a referance here in the board. Here is the link if you are intrested.

It would be great if you could list this recipe in there.

Thanks. I'll do that. I searched around for a thread to share this Cherry Cola experience and eventually decided I needed to start a new thread. I like the idea of a simple recipe thread.
