A friend just forwarded this to me. I thought it was a bit inappropriate and am wondering how I should respond.

I find it very strange that she worded it "flavoring nicotine", as she is currently only vaping PG and LorAnn.

Any thoughts?

Thank you for your interest in LorAnn Oils. I know that people are using this in that application but I do not have any recipes are advice in that area. I know people are very successful when they use our flavorings though so there should not be a problem.

Your oils are being used to flavor nicotine for the electronic cigarettes. Do you see a problem with this?? Any advice? Thanks, XX

Thanks.

My question was not so much about the "flavoring nicotine" part as it was the emailing of the LorAnn company for advice for use of their product in e-cigs.

I mean should vapor-ers not email non-vaping companies, such as Tractor supply, asking for guidance using their 'cow juice' in e-cigs? (Yes, I know this sound stupid, but I supply a lot to family and friends with e-cigs and they can and will do anything, they see fit).

Should I dissuade this behavior? How-to-do it tactfully? (Maybe provide a fake e-mail response from the company that she works at, asking for advise for e-vaping within the non-smoking building)? lol

She is exactly correct. We ARE flavoring nicotine with LorAnns (or at least some vapers are).

We are all nicotine addicts. That is nothing to be ashamed of. Nicotine is not harmful in the concentrations that we vape. Acting like it is borders on paranoia. Showing paranoia to the FDA is silly. We have absolutely nothing to hide.

I wouldn't expect them to know any recipes for e juice at lorann's, or any tractor supply places. I thought thier response was fine, actually. It was courteous and to the point, IMHO. They probably only sell a small amount of their total sales to vapers.

You CAN however get a lot of good information in the DIY forum here.

Harmony---very good point--I talked with Martha over half a year ago trying to help some of our Members in the UK to order from Lorann direct. She knew nothing about e-cigs and rightfully so---she does not smoke so why would she. I can tell you that she is a very pleasent person that would do anything to try to help customers out. Lorann is a huge company and they have no problems in helping out with consumer questions. IMO---they get a full thumbs up when it comes to customer support.---------Sun
