I just got the LorAnns eggnog flavor and was so dissapointed because it didn't taste like eggnog at all but it did taste like nutmeg...alot of nutmeg. The nutmeg was so overpowering that I'll never be able to use it in anything. Does anyone know who carries a true eggnog flavor?

I would say the LA eggnog tastes like 50% eggnog and 50% unwanted undertones.

add some butter rum...a little whipped cream and you have the perfect eggnog...trust me,,,i'm a dr....lol

I like what used to be called Capella's Italian Eggnog, but now I see they have just a regular Eggnog now - maybe it's the same. If it is, it is really good and make a good pairing with a little rum or brandy added.
Capellas eggnog sadly tastes just how you said Loranns taste like . 50% eggnog in the background and 50% unwanted nutmeg in the foreground . I did add a little vinegar and got some of the unwanted taste out though . Im not writing it off yet because it may be workable .
I made some up about a week ago, I'll have to try it without the added Brandy and see if I taste what you describe - you have me curious.
Not sure, sorry about the flavor. I like to find sites that have customer comments so I can get a good idea that the juice fits my needs before I order.
