ingredients list link

A lot of Loranns flavorings contain base soluble ingredients, and then some are oil based(few actually).

The link above shows all the flavors and categorizes them for you so you don't have to do the leg work.

BTW I love the pralines and cream. Not the strongest flavor so I add a little more then other flavors, but the taste is amazing.

Not all of Lorann's oil are oil. Usually the flavring name that has "oil" is an oil base. Name like Caramel, Chocolate do not have oil. There are some threat that have a list of wich flavor are oil or not.

Many ppl say oil kills atomizers, i'm not sure about that but one thing i know that Lorann's oil base flavors are insoluble in water. I found 2 oil type flavors from Lorann did not soluble in my juice, they tend to stay on the top. Also their flavors will stay on the atomizer forever, so hard to remove that scent. I don't try to mix with "oil" any more.

Lorann's will list next to the flavor if it is an oil. You can also check the ingredients for each of the flavors on their website. As someone else also mentioned, there are some quick charts which show which flavors are not soluable in water.

FWIW, many of us have experimented with the natural oil flavorings. Something to consider, is that you won't use them in the same concentration that you would say, Strawberry, or Caramel (which do not contain oils). They are in a much higher concentration. If you were to use 20% of that cinnamon oil you're gonna get knocked on your keister!

With anything DIY, you do it at your own risk to yourself and your hardware, but many of us have used the oils (sparingly) and have had no ill effects to health or to our hardware.

I hope this helps.
