LorAnns/Walmart?

Never seen LorAnn's in a Wal-Mart, but a pg-based clear vanilla flavor is in the crafts department, in the cake decorating area.
Limited flavors of LorAnns are in the candy making area of A.C.Moore's and Ben Franklin stores (craft stores). Best selection is online is at LorAnn's website or E-bay. I have been in contact with another flavoring supplier, and he assured me their flavors are PG based and perfect for not cloggin up PV's, though I haven't tried them yet. Here's the site: Flavored water , flavor water , water flavor drops , Capella Flavor Drops , vanilla flavoring , bottled drinking water , flavor syrup , coffee flavors

I used to work in the craft Dept. at Walmart. They had them in the cake making supplies. But Wal-mart has downsized the dept. to a couple of Aisles and no longer stocks a cake making section. Some stores have a few things left, but not many.
My friends who still work there tell me that in Sept. you should see a few things in stock for the holidays, check crafts, the cake mix aisle and aisle endcaps for special selections.

I just got back , all they had was Wilton Butter and Wilton Vanilla:( They had Wilton candy flavors, but they have oil and I believe I heard we do not want oil:(

Oh well, maybe Michaels will have something?

Living so close to the factory, I actually have gone directly to the them and purchased my flavorings ( Loranns) . They have some on display but will get you anything in their catalog right then. I asked them if they had any retailers that sold them as I was having no luck finding them. The girl told me that Hobby Lobby sold the full line of their products, and wal-mart carried a few flavors. I have been to Hobby Lobby since and they definitely do not carry their full line. ( At least not in Lansing) I recommend buying online for the best selection.

Edit: They would probably be happy to send you a catalog if requested, and you can order over the phone as well. They are very friendly there.

The Michael's near me only has a 4-pack of Wilton flavors, something like peppermint, spearmint, and a couple others that were obviously intended only for making mints. I've given up on looking for anything locally, except for the VG that I got at Michael's.

Unless you live near the Lorann's factory like the previous poster, you're better off buying online and playing the waiting game. There's an eBay store that sells drams a little cheaper than getting from Lorann directly. Might save a few bucks if you want to sample some flavors.

Also people have been reporting nice results from the Capella link I gave you earlier. I'm in the midst of playing the waiting game on that one myself.

If you have a party supply store near you, call and ask if they carry cake decorating supplies..a lot do. Also check around for a cake decorating store. Some kitchen supply places have that stuff too. One or two people on the board said they found them in Drug stores!
The problem with Lorann's is the bottles are too small and get shoplifted. The party supply store near my home has lorann's 2 packs shrinkwraped to a paperback size cardboard back. The problem is that you pay double the on line price for 2 of the same flavor. $3.50 They did have boxes of 4 flavors..that I already have.

I had good luck on eBay with a seller called thecandylodge. They sell the 2-packs but will substitute flavors (buy 2 apple and get an apple and a watermelon, etc.). You just need to email them about that and also about combined shipping. I'm thinking I paid $7.68 (including shipping) for 4 different flavors.

My Hobby Lobby has a ton of flavors, and Wal-Mart had a few in the cake decorating section near the crafts and a few in the baking aisle in the grocery section.
