vapor satisfies me much more than i had expected. instead of chowing sweet snacks, i sit back and puff away on my Peanut Butter Cookie vape for example.

i do like my pizzaria vape occasonally but it tends to make me more hungry rather than less.

its interesting to note the different effects of sweet vs savory vapes in regard to deterring hunger.

Can you imagine Frito flavored juice..? 0_o... yuuuuck

ive sampled some tobaccos that to me tasted like Fritos  its the result of a particular nut flavoring thats used. ive tasted it in several tobaccos.

I've been leery of that kinda flavor. Is it decent?

oddly enough, it is.
its not an all day vape by any means but sometimes i get the craving for it. it goes really well with a dirty martini.

I have been actively trying to lose weight for a long time. Had some success and one of my biggest concerns about trying to quit cigs was gaining weight. With vaping, I have not gained weight per se, however, the weight loss has really slowed down, even with following the same plan. Hoping as my body adjusts without cigs the weight will start to come off again.

Everyone has different experiences with vaping. That being said my experience is smoking made me hungry all of the time whereas with vaping i am not hungry. It can't be the flavors I vape because most times i am vaping unflavored nic juice and it is the same experience. I feel satisfied and not hungry. I have lost weight without trying I went from 230lbs to now 170lbs. My Doctor is pleased with my blood work and cholesterol levels that were always so high and now are normal. I find that i now eat healthier meals and don't crave snacks at all.

I lost weight when I quit smoking and started vaping. 4 Kilos to be precise. I do vape the sweeter juices -Swagger, Peach, French Vanilla, Chocolate and walnut coffee. I believe the sweetness of the juices has helped reduce my "tea with sugar" intake by half and I do not have intense sweet cravings as much as before. The nicotine of course also keeps your appetite suppressed.

All in all a welcome surprise.

They do have cheesecake vapes! I didn't really care for the one that I tried, though..... Usually people will gain weight after quitting smoking, but I totally agree that vaping will satisfy your sweet tooth! And, I also think it is great for diabetics, they can vape sweets!

from what i understand, quitting smoking results in weight gain due to one or all of the following:
1. removing nicotine from your diet. removing nicotine not only slows your metobolism temporarily, but also eliminates the stimulant effect which reduces hunger.
2. hand-to-mouth cravings are satisfied not by cigarettes but by food
3. flavors become more robust after quitting, encouraging eating

None of the above problems are things that a vaper runs into, except maybe the third one. but like many have experienced, the stimulant effect of the nicotine eliminates deep cravings for food. so for the majority of us, while you did quit smoking, you havent quit nicotine. and only with the removal of nicotine do we start to experience difficulty. YMMV.

Totally agree! If you are vaping sweet food flavors, rather than tobacco flavors, that may reduce food cravings... Also, vaping satisfies those hand to mouth cravings, too.... There are studies that say nic is good for you.... Vaping gives you the nic while removing all the bad stuff from the burning analogs.....
