Lost my Throat hit!

I have an Evo on the go but am waiting on new liquids and carts so only have the v.high capsules left. I'm using these in between my Tital 510 but they are really strong and make my chest a bit tight.

Just got used to using my Titan and although I have great taste and lots of vapour, I don't seem to have the throat hit that I remember when I first tried this one out. Battery ok, and just changed the first atty even though I didn't think there was anything wrong with the atty that was in there. (Been using both on and off for about 2 wks)

Any ideas how to get a bigger kick from my 510 please?

I have tobacco carts medium strength and tobacco liquid medium 11mg strength. I have a few high strength carts left from my starter pack but a bit reluctant to put them in when I only have v.high carts on the evo too.

fumerfrancaise......I may not be reading your question correctly but it seems like the higher nicotine level is giving you a better throat hit. You may also want to invest in a higher voltage device for your 510.I have found with more power that some liquids that were weak to me running on 3.7 volts now provide a throat hit at 5 volts. I Know for fact that most menthol e-liquids will give a good hit regardless of the nicotine level(at least for me)Good Luck!!The Wiz!

Thanks Wiz; I have been wondering that myself. Damn nuisance though because I'm waiting on all my new supplies of liquids and I've only ordered medium level strengths. Such is life eh

might be worth cleaning the atomiser(s) on the 510 if you have not already, I find that this gives the flavour and throat hit back.

Like the Wiz said, I'm not quite sure what you are saying either. But...I think that you need the liquid to top up the Titan carts to get that kick you are missing from it. And as I am understanding the post,... you are trying to not use the new higher nic carts you have left as they are too strong for you???? Also, I am understanding you have no liquid (just prefilled carts)..?

Hope you get the liquid in a hurry as it seems to me that is the secret to the elusive kick you are missing.

Don't think it is chemicals burning the throat as you put it, with the PV vs the analoge. I'm kind of reluctant to banter with you as you have been a very unvocal member since Jan 2009. Have you been reading up, or absent since then (you have 9 posts).

My experience is that nicotine is the factor in our PV's for that coughing throat hit. I have found the one just right for me, (that feeling), just a little bit before you need to cough. Though... I have gotton some strong (flavoring) liquid that I just could'nt stop coughing after each draw with before (I assume that to be spice/flavoring.

What is your reasoning for saying that?

when I make my next purchase of liquid I was thinking of getting one small bottle, but I don't really think I need it to be honest. I think it's just the hand-to-mouth that I crave, you know?

Welcome to my world, I do different flavor to cheat my palate but I try to do a very low nic most of the time so when I crave I take the high nic and thats perfect,

crystal, I apologize if I'm reading your post wrong. However, if you are used to having no nicotine, please do not introduce it into your system. It's highly addictive.

Excuse me! I'm not a paranoid person. I just speak the truth an call it as I see it. I don't make assumptions lightly.. Obviously, you have not read the previous/current posts. Can you honestly make sense of them? Other than, they are not a smoker? Really?

I've only been vaping for 2 weeks, so you can consider my opinion with that in mind.

I now have several sample-size flavors, all in the same 18mg nicotine strength. But I have noticed that some flavors produce a much stronger throat hit than others. And some of my tobacco flavors provide a throat hit that's too much for me. I have discovered through trial and error that adding a few drops of a non-tobacco flavor (like vanilla or a fruit flavor) tones it down to a level I prefer.

Likewise, with the flavors that don't have enough of a throat hit for me, I just add a couple drops of my favorite tobacco flavor.

I also discovered that I don't get a good throat hit if the battery is less than fully charged or the cartridge is starting to dry out. But you said those were okay, so that's probably not it. Hope you get your liquids really fast -- then most likely problem solved. You'll probably be ok with the high-nic cartridges if you reduce the amount of vaping you do until you get your liquids.

And Crystal, if you are truely legit.. I will now say I am sorry. I truely hope I am wrong, as we really do have a viable alternative and a devise that can save alot of lives. in fact, last april I put a link up to this board for all the people who were interested in what they are.

also, I may have been misleading: when I said I didn't use nicotine, I meant the juice and carts I have are nic-free because I got them from canada (all that border stuff scared me).

I'm a smoker, but I've only been a regular smoker since 2003. I never thought I had a real nicotine habit, though. I could quit for a few days if I needed to, but I found myself craving a cigarette out of habits... like eating a big meal or while driving or while typing on the computer. it feels weird not smoking after doing those things. my boyfriend and I just got a new place and we decided not to smoke inside. he's trying to quit but I work on the computer a lot and e-cig seems like the perfect thing to replace that feeling.

so far, so good!

I hope that helps my case somewhat. haha. FDA. I wish I got paid that much. I really appreciate how much information is on this board. there's no way I could have found out so much stuff on my own.
