i couldn't find a thread about this, if there is one then could a mod please delete.

I have one arriving tomorrow, seems to be a beautifully made device. Lost Vape have a reputation for good quality, hopefully this will uphold that reputation. I'll report back when I have it...

I have been waiting for reviewers to review this. I seen one video out on it but they didn't show how to get the battery out. So Lost Vapes finally responded to my message on FB.
They said that you have to peel the carbon fiber off and unscrew the screws. They also said they did this and I will quote them on what they wrote back
Lost VapeHi Denise, To access to the battery, you have to remove the carbon fiber panel and unscrew the aluminum door. Because we dont recommend customer mess up the internals and unplug the connectors to charging externally, it will potentially damage the balance connetor or the battery connections, so we hide the screws and did not make the sliding door design as esquare, just to clarify that you can still service the battery when its dead cause we use XT30 connectors, but based on the design of dna200s boards its not recommended to take your lipo in and out too often. The fullymax lipo are very high qulity , could last you 1 year up easily.

I'm a bit concerned as if they have concerns about the parts and how they make it makes me not want to purchase this mod.

I took delivery of the eFusion last Thursday from Vapegeek here in the UK. The box is surprisingly small and very well made. I have been using a 3d printed DNA 200 mod for a few weeks and wanted a more "pocketable" device, this fits the bill perfectly. Spring loaded SS 510 and some seriously tough anodising (I dropped it on friday outdoors, with very little impact to the finish). The battery is perfoming very well and has been lasting me all day @50W 420F using maybe 10-15ml of juice. I took the side panel off over the weekend and although it is a tight squeeze in there it is very well put together. I wouldnt want to be changing the battery each charge though and that was my main reason for moving to the DNA as opposed to the SX mini m class.

In short I love it and after having many mods in my 5 years vaping I can honestly say this is a keeper.

Thanks for the videos I seen the first video. This second one didn't see it, but Lost Vapes did finally get back with me and said you have to peel the carbon fiber off and unscrew the screws. They also said they will be selling the batteries with the connectors on them. I just wish they made it a bit easier on getting the batteries out. But since it's only a sticky carbon fiber they can be replaced if something happens. So now I have to decide what color I want :)

Sorry for the delay in getting back after my initial post! Had to go away for a few days. Right - I'm loving this device. Simply put, it's beautifully made. Really impressed. I agree it's a slight pain re accessing the battery, but I never bought this as a device for swapping the battery out regularly. I'm getting pretty much a day @45w 400f which I think is more than acceptable. Let me tell you, this thing vapes amazingly using a Ni200 coil in my Crown tank.

It really is a beautifully built device. Very sturdy and I'm loving it. @Andymi75 I too got mine from Vapegeek here in the UK. Highly recommended mod, folks, and nicely different from the other DNA 200 devices.

Thanks for the feed back. I'm still debating what color. Here is the states they either have the red, black or the gold. I know they are coming out with a Aqua or teal and those are not in stock in any of the places in the States so those are the ones I'm thinking about getting. So now the wait begins..I just don't want to get whatever they have in stock.

I got the silver/black. Not the most adventurous choice, granted. However, there was a method in my madness... black carbon panel, silver body, black Crown tank. To me, and others agree, that combo looks really premium. Very classy. Each to their own and all that jazz.

Seriously, I think you'll not be disappointed if you buy one of these fellas. Enjoy.

How do you vape throughout the day? Myself work so I can only vape on my breaks. I'm trying to get an idea of what the battery life is like on this before I purchase one. I usually run from 44-53W, 440-475* normally.

@Smeef it's all subjective. That said, if you can only vape during your breaks then I'm pretty confident you'll get your working day, and then some, from the battery. I wouldn't say that unless I was confident.
I ended up picking one up. So far it seems like it is going to be fine. Charge time is what I can't deal with. With that being said I'm looking at a higher capacity Lipo, putting magnets in the door and getting a stand alone charger. I'm looking into even squeezing in dual 18650s. I could deal with the wattage limit.

Seems like a good, simple, solid, base mod to experiment with custom panels, wraps, magnet configurations and even installing a dual 18650 power source.

The only question I have is, can both sides be stripped down (carbon-fiber "sticker" peeled off)? I'm assuming, "yes."

And are both sides sporting removable aluminum panels, or just the one side?

Everyone keeps showing the "right" side being removed, but it looks like it's the same on the other side.

I'd want to take both carbon-fiber inlays off, deglue it all and experiment with putting a small amount of Loctite putty on and then fitting some custom, aluminum (or SS) panels with a laser etching or engraving.

Watching a Vaporshark DNA 200 fully charge in under 2 hours is a thing of beauty my friend. Even though the Shark has a smaller lipo the 2A zip charging makes up for it

I found the answer to my question: both sides / access panels are identical.

So, DIY side panels should be relatively straightforward.
