this was not my experience. I bought DNA “C” systems because I wanted replay since I was not getting particularly useful TC behavior out of non DNA systems. What I found when I had them in hand was that the normal DNA TC “just worked” and I didn’t have to do any messing around with evolv software at all. I did download it, but only to mess with what info I wanted displayed. It turned out I didn’t need replay, I just needed DNA. After I got more comfortable with DNA TC I was able to make TC work on my ageis stuff. It’s not as good as the DNA stuff, particularly at very low wattage, but I got it to function mostly reliably which I had not really been able to do before.I like mine alot. Solid build quality and I've had it apart to see the attention to detail within as well. That said, a few things to consider with any DNA device.
If you're going to run simple power mode, I don't really see the point in an advanced circuit like the 250C. Many others will do that fine for less money.
The DNA boards famously do outstanding TC and replay is an actual thing. It really works, the controversy over whether it actually is a form of TC or not notwithstanding.
TC is not necessarily super simple to setup with DNA driven devices and Escribe will almost certainly be needed. Replay IS super simple to setup and does not require Escribe.
Speaking of Escribe, if you love tinkering, you will LOVE Escribe. You can tweak and twiddle with just about literally EVERYthing.
Again, if you're going to just run power mode, I don't really see the point. I mean you'll get spot on resistance sampling and spot on power delivery to the coils, which is a thing, but how necessary is surgical accuracy in those two areas to get a good vape out of a wattage device? It can be off a bit and still work fine. Just my 2 cents.

That's why I said "not necessarily." Maybe it's because i got into Escribe and started playing right away too. I run mostly titanium in TC and the DNA devices I have do it fabulously. Since I tried replay though, I just left it there. It's perfect.this was not my experience. Good post you had there, but I do have to say that for build quality I think the Paranormal 250C is a level above your average 50 or 60 dollar Chinese mod. The structural joints are metal in metal, the screws are high quality and the tapping smooth. Good heavy gauge wiring with solid solder joints too.the mod, although well built, is just another Chinese mass produced shell.
I can't argue with this for discriminating vapors. There is a discernible difference in vape quality and consistency to be sure. For the non enthusiast who is just looking to get a good vape in a cost effective manner, I still think it's overkill.Personally, the cost of admission into a DNA equipped device is worth it if you are into regulated devices. Even just using wattage mode, I feel it excels over many of the Chinese boards. It is accurate and extremely efficient.

If there's one area I wish Evolv would step up a bit, it's the screen. While not terrible, it's not the greatest either.
