Ok, got to work now (about 4 hours lol) but just wanted to say I have the latest Therion with black frame, carbon inlays and rattlesnake cover to show you later

Ok so first off, this mod is amazing, it's my first Therion, I love it, the build quality is outstanding and because of the width, it feels so nice in the hand and the weight is pefect....but enough of that...
The Rattlesnake isn't pure white, even in my pictures it looks whiter than it is, it's an off white / cream, hard to describe but I love it, it certainly isn't a in your face bright white...Mike Vapes wondered if it was real snakeskin
.....it's not, it's real leather, well it smells like real leather.Don't dismiss the Blush Viper either, that's pretty much the same in a deep redish color, it's nice !.....I just thought the this one looked a little more classy but that's subjective.. I would of taken a picture but we have completely sold out of Viper ones now..

Oh, that's not nearly as white as I feared. That soft ecru/cream is much nicer than that stark white in the other photos. And yeah, the Therion is a great box. I like it a bit better than my Triade, the only advantage going to the Triade for me is battery life. It feels better in my hand. Even with bigger dual coils now I don't need more than 100W on the preheat.
My ex saw mine with the red ostrich and liked it so much she wanted to take up vaping just to get it as a fashion accessory.

I agree 100%. The Triade is my favorite triple 18650 mod but I like dual 18650 mods better for the same reason's you mentioned. They feel great in hand, lighter, and easier to take out and about. The Therion at the moment, is the mod I'm almost always using. It's a very solid felling and classy looking mod. You can't beat the Triade for great battery life though. My Cuboid is currently dying after only one month and I have to buy a replacement as soon as possible.
How reliable are products from Lost Vape like Therion DN166? Can I expect 1 year of normal usage or will the damn thing die after couple of months?

How is it dying? What's going on with it? I've had a cuboid for 6+ months and it's still firing strong.
Lost Vape makes exceptional mods. You should be able to get a year out of one...unless you beat your mods up.

The DNA board has a 1 year warranty from Evolv. I think Lost Vape makes high quality equipment. I expect at least a year out of my DNA mods. TBH if your not really rough on your stuff, I would expect more than a year.

And because I read so many people had problems with Cuboid I was so careful with it. Even before I screwed first tank on it, I already prepared 0,8mm spacers for Griffin and Avocado and protected 510 pin. Never dropped it, never over screwed a tank, never applied too much pressure on the button,...
E-cig product are expensive here, but I'm willing to pay 180€ for a mod that will last me for 1-2 years. I vape for 3-4 months, I love it, but reliability issues are frustrating. I got over tanks, coil and wicking issues. I regularly rotate Zepherus V2 and Avocado 22 and taking care of tanks and wicking became a routine. But before that it seemed I was investing so much time in vaping. Cleaning, rewicking (I was bad and I was rewicking every day), searching for batteries, tanks, juice,searching for a perfect vape... Now, as I said, waping became a routine like smoking was a routine. But just when everything settled I have to search for a new mod.
Is it possible maybe some e-liquid got into it and affected the switch?
I'd probably go with a Therion 166 if I were you and call it a day. Maybe afterwards mess around with the cuboid and see if cleaning under the switch with isopropyl alcohol fixes the misfiring issue

I'm not sure where you are located, but I assume it's not in the USA. Right now GearBest has the Therion 166 on a Flash sale for $118.78 USD (Silver Frame with Black, Brown, or Pearl Coffee battery covers).

For a mass produced mod, you can't beat Lost Vape and it has a warranty on the board...
You can't compare the Cuboid from Joytech to a Lost Vape mod with a DNA board, like night and day, you will be fine.
I dot't think even a drop of juice ended inside the Cuboid. I had couple of leaks with Zephyrus v2 before I learned how to wick it properly, but juice was removed before it could get in to the mod. Inside also no traces of spilled juice. And I always checked the pin and it was always dry. Because of the design of the button, it's highly unlikely juice got into the inner switch. But when Cuboid finally completely dies, I will try to clean everything with alcohol. Not sure how to do that, because I don't think inner switch can be taken apart, but I will try. When I do I will make photos and hopefully someone on forum will be good enough to give advice. If not, well, it's a nice paper holder.
In the mean time I just hope Cuboid lasts till Saturday morning when Therion will arrive.
I know, but I can't order it. There is no chance it will go trough customs. I ordered the mod trough different channels. It's expensive and because I still don't speak native language, wife had to help with the purchase. She was as always very understanding, but this means sooner or later I have to buy her something in same price range. You all know how it goes. New toy for you, new purse for me. And this means I have to wait with KEF speakers I want to buy since September.
Hope you see why all this fuss about dying mod is so frustrating. Plus I have Therion in the mail. Aaaaa...
