Quick question, I have a traid 250 that i purchased through element vapes about 4 months ago. As of last night I keep getting the flashing "battery imbalance" screen despite my batteries showing fully charged. After so online searching i went through escribe to check each cell. Each cell was showing greater then 3.6v except cell 1 which was under 1.7v.

Anyone ever experience this and are there any remedies???? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

The battery that shows as 1.7V is below what is considered the lowest discharge voltage and should be recycled in my opinion. You now have a set of 2 for use in another MOD.

I agree with this. No battery is getting back from 1.7v. It has seen the light and is heading as fast as it can to battery heaven. Sad day.

Green 18650 1500 mah 3.7v purchased through lightning vapes. Pictured below.... just tested every set with a multimeter and they all measured 4.22v or above. Even the set in the mod are reading 66% battery life however when tested with the mutlmeter they read 4.22v and above.

It is possible you have genuinely good 18650s suitable for vaping.
4.22v would be a strange reading, since external chargers stop at 4.2v. That .2 cannot be reached by accident. (or your multimeter could be out a bit)
When did you last charge them? You do it in the mod itself, yes?
Something is not right.

I used a mechanics multimeter. Charged all of my batteries yesterday and last night. And that's when this issue occurred. Have charged the batteries twice in the mod. I know 2A charging
tends to shorten battery life but still lol

Green isn't a name brand, there should be more letters & numbers.
But since we have to guess, my guess is LGDAHB21865 or LG HB2 for short, but I could be wrong.

Make sure the battery contacts are clean bright & shiny & securely/tightly hold the cells / making good connection.
Remove cells clean contacts, tighten if necessary, re install, see what they read via escribe after.
And make sure your battery settings are correct in escribe.

So the problem is the cell 1 slot, as rotating the batteries produces the same reading on what just a "good" reading? Time to send that in for work under warranty. Not a common problem for a DNA board, but as always, anything can happen. I personally wouldn't vape on that mod until it is repaired/board replaced.

Is slot one making good firm connection?
Have you checked escribe settings?
is it set to Li ion?
adjusted your capacity in wh to match the cells you're using?
Have you run the battery analyzer?

You understand the dna 250 will never draw more than 28a from the power source, most folks use 3 3000mah 20a CDR cells for much improved run time.

A few things. First, you can start with Element Vape. They may or may not offer help 4 months out. If they don't, you still have a Lost Vape warranty, with a US based LV warranty service (if you're in the US), lostvaperepaircenter.com Home If that doesn't work, you can contact Evolv directly as they support their own boards quite well.

Welcome and glad you joined. Could google, " Vape: triad DNA 250 warranty". It appears you are not the first to have this problem.
