The Orange Creme Twinkies were a real disappointment ...overwhelmingly orange colored and it tastes like food coloring.

Burger King now has tacos.
From what I see...I am really crossing my fingers.
I LOVE LOVE LOOOOOOVE Jack in the Box mystery meat tacos - we don't have a Jack in the Box here.
From pics and reviews...they SURE look/sound the same...
I will be going there tomorrow !!!!

Lol...you've taken me down memory lane to my time as a carhop... Because the University had such a large contingent of students from S CA, they had decided to add tacos to the menu. I came in to work the first day they were added and ordered them for myself... The cook had never seen or eaten them before...there was no internet or google with pics to help her... When I was served what looked like crumbled ground beef with something that appeared to be a salad on the side... I rushed back to the kitchen to help her and show her what they were really supposed to be...

Never was a Twinkie fan ... I grew up on Tasty Kake's. I can only get this when they do their limited runs.

If I may be so bold to suggest . . . From personal recent experience - DON'T . . . either waste your time - nor money (even if it is only $1.00) . . . NOT PLEASANT AT ALL (even if taste vary - taste doesn't vary that much) . . . Save "Your" Taste buds/Stomach from the trouble it will inherently experience if you eat these . . . Ya' would be better off going to Taco Bell . . . Or even open up a can of dog food - drop the contents on the floor - scoop up and get some shriveled up grass clipping - spread everything like wall paste/plaster - very thinly into a small piece of wet cardboard - eat at room temperature . . . This would probably taste better then the taco at Burger King . . .

Just Sayin' . . .

Good morning. Looks like we survived the bedlam and chaos of yesterday. 5 adults and 4 kids ages 4, 3, 2 and 6 mo. All but the 6 mo old in the pool. It was just way too hot for him to be outside so he stayed inside learning how to crawl. After a fried chicken dinner and tub time for all 3 boys, half the crowd left. Our daughter and Hux and Brody stayed the night because Kate checked her app for her home AC and discovered her house would not cool down below 80 degrees. Imagine that, adjusting your HVAC from your phone. They'll be packing up and leaving by 7:30 this morning to get Hux to camp by 8:30. I think Mike and I are going to spend today recuperating. It's exhausting having fun!

I'll Siskel & Ebert Uncle Dan's "Review" of the BK Tacos .. As a Long Time Fan of Jack-in-the-Box Tacos, I find the BK Tacos amazingly similar, at least at the BK's in the STL area .. while I realize that both these tacos may not reach the pinnacle of Taco Heaven, especially for the True Aficionados out there, they are quite tasty and do provide that "grease" requirement of the Daily Diet .. .. Dan comparing them to Dog Food scraped off the floor seems a little harsh, however, I think that would depend on what kind of Dog Food, type of floor, etc, and, just how much Dog Food you've sampled over the years ..

I'll add, if I eat a Twinkie, it must be the Classic ..

Yeah, I had no choice but to hit the yard yesterday and it was just plain brutal at 96o and high humidity .. why .. ?? Today, we have substantially cooler temps, but rain as well .. so, it was either get 'er done on Sunday or allow the Grass Jungle to continue to grow ..
