Switching to that format only makes it slightly less hideous. Still way, way too much whitespace, and the 'like' button is still gone.

This is the 3rd major 'update' i've seen on ecf since i've been around. Both previous 'updates' resulted in tons of people leaving. I doubt this one will be different. It's like they've kissed off usability.

It's sooo 2017...

From 15 weeks old to 1 year old yesterday.

It'll be back, but....not for awhile. They're rebuilding the posting ratings....whatever that may mean.. and have to wait for the system to go through a cache of over 17 million posts

Same here. I get lazy with posting congratulations or prayers, but I still care. The wider options between read, unlike, and like means we don't have to "like" bad news. And like will have more meaning if we won't be using it to say "I read this". Looking forward to it.

I think the key is to only get paper back books. That way you can have more stacked up befoe critical mass

The Glorious History (where would we be without it .. ??) dates back to the 10th Century / Ethiopia .. the earliest evidence of Human Consumption dates to the 15th Century in Yemen .. when a Yemeneze Mystic observed Birds eating a certain berry and gaining unusual Vitality .. upon trying said berry, it's Magical Properties were instilled in Humans as well ..

For my part, I have never used the "like" button as a bookmark, though I realize many do and often a very quick succession of "likes" showing up in my alerts tells me that the person is not really reading them, but just catching up to the latest post . It's easy enough to "go to first unread". I agree that it has more meaning if it's only used when the person actually does like the post...

Well I'm young at heart but the rest of the body is 90 but nice seeing that others are still young at heart makes me feel good, just wish I could follow through. Thats if young at heart is a feeling and not literal cause the heart is 90 also but I still feel like it, till I look in a mirror.
