Good morning. Gorgeous morning here and quite welcome after yesterdays rainy day. It's looking pretty squishy out there.

I'm putting a lot of hope in the Hydroxy for preventative measures as well as recovery from Covid. Half the fear we have is that we can be treated if we do get sick. Just heard this morning that Hydroxy is so safe it's sold over the counter in Brazile.

If they can agree on treatments I like the idea of testing everyone. Let the healthy ones out and only sequester those at high risk - like us.

Dang, I expected to see the seasons change!

And still dry here, for a change.

Our town took a direct tornado hit from last night's storms. No serious injuries thank heavens, but lot's of property damage. We have some good sized branches down but compared to others we are good.
A scary thing to happen with everything else going on.......glad you're OK......

Well, Dan, you know I can't say no to you .. :D

So comforting to see you again! Play that music!

Our daughter drove to Reagan Airport in DC to pick up Brian today. The turn-around trip was the quickest way to get him home instead of Brian waiting around for a seat to fly back to Philly,

Anyway this picture was around 2pm in the afternoon in downtown DC. So eerie ... no people ... no traffic, she'll never drive through a deserted DC like this again.

So eerie.....our Parkway looks almost the same....very little traffic except for the truckers, for whom I have a great deal of empathy.

'Evening everyone....

Going to take a chance on posting a little lighthearted humor...
Well, I'm glad you took the chance, cause I smiled all through it.....a sense of humor is critical these days, although I feel it is rather diminishing.

Good afternoon everyone! I hope everyone has a good day today!

Somehow I managed to pull a muscle in my shoulder. I think it was the 20lb bag of catfood I picked up at Walmart (yet another reason to hate them). It should have stopped hurting by now but nooooo that would be too easy.

My sister is almost well but my niece is worse. My family is starting to get really worried about her now. We can't lose her. She fought too hard after the car accident that almost killed her. She's my favorite niece. This whole situation just isn't fair! I apologize for whining. I just don't understand why they don't have a cure or vaccine for it yet. Sigh
((((Anise))))No apologies needed......your concern is legitimate and she will be added to my prayer list.

For what it's worth:
I was listening to a doctor the other day, and he was pi$$ed (his words) at the information we are being fed.
He said if we couldn't get a doctor to give us Quinine, we could buy it off the shelf in the form of Schweppes Tonic Water, because it's Quinine, and to take some Zinc along with it.
I never drank gin and tonic,... hate the taste and smell of gin

I decided to try the tonic water, because it also comes in a sugar free version.
It's really "bubbly", so I added a little wine to it, and it tastes like champagne
But it still got harder to swallow as I worked my way through it.
I'll have to try some lemon or lime, or some sugar free Da'Vinci syrup, to hide the "quinine" taste.
Anyway, I going with the program ... what have I got to lose, and it sure won't harm me.

My very modest goal is spreading confusion and frustration. Fortunately, I'm very good at it.

Hi all, I hope everyone is staying safe and well. My body doesn't like the changes we are having in the weather. As you can see, I am up much earlier than normal. I just couldn't get comfortable to sleep, however, I think I might have dozed for 30 or 45 minutes then I moved and woke up. Oh well, this too shall pass.

My laser printer has bought the farm. I was getting a toner error so order another cartridge and I am still getting the error. Also, even though my laptop shows that anything I send to the printer is being printed it doesn't print. I have updated the drivers and everything else I can think of but the darn thing won't print and the error code will not go away. So, I'm in the market for a new printer. The Brother I have has lasted for at least 10 years so I really can't complain. I don't print anything colored so another laser printer is all I need. The problem is that there are so many choices I'm feeling overwhelmed. Well, I guess I'll get back to comparing printers and watching Nat Geo Wild.
